as most of us know, terrorists, state terrorists, and muslim extremists get money from the drug trade and because of the west's dependence on foreign oil because our shit runs on gasoline, petroleum, diesel, etc. not from raking people like LemOn
what you might not know is there's an easy solution which tips the scales in our (civilization's) favor
whereas there are other fuels, ethanol/methanol, biofuels, which we do not have to pay hundreds of billions of dollars every year to a theocratic government in the desert who crucify journalists and don't let women drive in order to put in our cars. which then gets funneled to whatever extremist group, which kills people, that they feel like
the solution is simple. it costs about $100 to add flex-fuel capability to a new production car. it's something like a fuel sensor that can sense what fuel is being injected in what ratios (because you could fill up your tank with 100% gasoline and then run out and fill it with 100% ethanol and then when you're at 50% and can't find ethanol just put gasoline so you've got 50/50). if the US government simply required every new production car sold in the US to have this simple technology, it would create a market where ethanol and other fuels would be in demand, and those companies would spring up and be able to undercut/compete with foreign oil, and that would drive down the cost of foreign oil letting us move away from the saudis who we wouldn't need anymore. so that part of the world would have to get their own act together because the honeymoon would be over.
Brazil has already switched, and that's embarrassing. the US could handle it. and the world would follow the US no question because they want to sell cars in the US (looking at you VW) and this would be a small thing for like Honda and Toyota to be able to stay in the US market. |
