Tesla and Elon Musk are already betatesting super-speed transportation methods (1200km/h or 750miles/h). Project is called Hyperloop and its basically a tube :D
Initially I though they might be over-reacting in the video a bit when they say it would change the world, but when you think about it in deep - holy shit. I mean, this is almost what mobiel phones did for contact in regards for face to face contact if it goes real.
