Was doing decent, up 2 buyins playing aggressively raising over limpers etc preflop, could tell I was irritating a couple of players who just werent used to not being able to limp for $5 every single hand, when finally I 3bet AK to $60 and get snap called by one of the tilty players on my left. Flop comes down 649r and in about 5 seconds he suddenly says "265!" indicating an allin. Now we were heads up and I was leaned all the way back in my chair with my arms crossed, so there's no way he thought I checked. I immediately was like "huh?" and everyone at the table erupts to inform me that the action is still on me and his bet is binding if I check. I understand this but everyone including the dealer kept reinforcing this as if I was about to make some grave mistake "sir, sir, sir, the action is on you. His action is binding, just know that ok? He has to put in 265 if you check" blah fuckity blah to the point I was thinking "OK EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR A SECOND!". I knew something was off. This out of turn bet just made no sense whatsoever because there is absolutely no way he thought I checked. I even apologized for a second and said "hey man I wasnt trying to make you think I checked to you somehow". And I'm looking at this board and I'm like why the fuck does someone 2x pot a rainbow dry as fuck board like this? Especially one that I was 100% going to cbet with AK.
The pressure got to me with the dealer still staring at me intensely trying to make sure I understood the rules so I folded. Obviously faggot on my left shows the bluff and taunts me with it. As the deep stack of the table I promptly racked up and left sort of as a statement that you just chased off $1500 with your $60 win dipshit, hope you're happy. I think leaving was the right move anyway because I was pretty damn tilted and knew if this guy is an angler he's probably just getting started and I dont have time to deal with cheaters.
Day1: -$40
Day2: $970
Day3: $190
_____
Total: $1120

Meh, just fold and thank yourself for sitting in a game with such a donk, you're obviously going to have a good hand here often and make bank. He shows you the bluff and his thought process. He's not exploiting you in this spot.
Knowing that someone is angling is tilting for sure, but remember most cheaters are weak players.
He didn't chase off $1500 dollars, he chased off a player that is probably better than him( I assume).
Anyways, if someone keeps angling, management will do something? |

I would have thanked the guy for giving me positional advantage on the flop and kept playing. I think calling that cheating is a bit of a stretch; if you are going to be playing a lot of live games you will need thicker skin. Or maybe the live games I've been in have just been really wild/angly.
That said, I like the different characters in the games, it makes things more interesting. Some people like to rub bluffs in other's faces, some shit talk, but overall most people here are just trying to have fun. I think this would be a good situation to laugh it off, and tell him nice hand (who knows, maybe he will keep voluntarily giving you positional advantage in the future). Especially if you are the most aggressive person at the table and crushing everybody, they will cheer for you to lose. That's can be part of the fun though!
Of course it can seem like anarchy after online play, but I think if you go into it knowing these things will happen the shenanigans can actually be enjoyable. I like people having fun and doing silly shit; sometimes I contribute to that. Like if I'm the button in seat one, and it folds around to me then I might raise blind and show the entire right side of the table my cards so seats 5-10 have a sweat while the hand plays out (not that I would recommend doing that). You are going to win either way, and I think helping the table have fun or letting them have their fun isn't a bad idea.

+1, I don't see how him acting before your check gives him any kind of advantage, but maybe I misunderstood the action/situation? |

Yeah I mean him shoving out of position to force me to call with a better hand is not all that exploitative on me. I've just actually never been angled before because 99% of my play has been in homegames where that shit isnt tolerated. That and I have an extreme sensitivity to tilt that I've been working on for years lead me to the decision that I needed to leave right away because it was all I kept thinking about for the next 3 hands "This mother fucker just angled me! This mother fucker just angled me! THIS MOTHER FUCKER!!"
I didnt make a scene out of it or anything. I just waited for the blinds to come around and told the dealer to deal me out while I grabbed some racks. The angler even said "you outta here man? A'ight then take it easy" |

It's an angle but a really bad one. He is just giving you his stack when you have 1pair+ (which is a lot) and since we can rule out sets pretty much 100% AK can actually be a pretty easy call as it's never in really bad shape. All he should be accomplishing with this is getting you to k/f some hands you might otherwise bluff OTF.
edit: People constantly shoot angles live. Can't let the ones that don't even benefit the angler bother you. |

You could still bluff if you wanted to; if you make a bet, the action is changed and he no longer has to make the bet that he made out of turn. So you still had the option to bluff. It just wouldn't make sense. |
