I have decided lately to switch from Zoom to regular tables. I find players have a wayyyyy higher VPIP and it has more recreational tables. I play on micros and there is no point for me to grind for FPPs. Have any of you guys done the switch> |

sites should have a VPIP jackpot |

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

I feel like micro grinders such as myself shouldn't play zoom unless they are the absolute top players
It's much easier to go into bot mode and you can't do that if you're trying to improve
Obviously overall zoom games are much tougher too, at least when i was playing 10 to 25nl last year in PS there was like a 5-6bb/100 difference, but I sucked at poker compared to now plus not a large enough sample on zoom
Anyways if you crush 50nl regular tables you should probably be crushing 25nl zoom etc. |

Lemon, do you prefer one over the other? I've only played 10 k hands on regular tables and I see people ship with nothing really. Not sure how it's going to be @ 25 NL + .... I'm enjoying it more because you can exploit bad players more. Easier to sit at their tables, specially if you get the chance to be on their left. The volume is much smaller but I find it beneficial because the vast majority of people play 30+ VP. |

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

how many tables are u playing @ reg tables? I think u need to have like 16 open to get the same volume as 4x zoom tables, and then its pretty hard to concentrate well on all of them..for me the volume and convenience of zoom is far superior, but then I havent put in much volume at all @ reg tables, so I could be talking out of my ass. I expect that your winrate should be slightly higher at reg tables, but if youre winning at even for example twice as much playing reg tables as you would playing zoom, but you can only maintain that with a volume of 1/4 of the hands youd get playing zoom, thats still worse playing reg tables, youre making half the money for your time spent at the tables. |

Reg tables is more about quality than quantity. You just try to select tables with the most amount of fish while zoom doesn't really allow that.
Sometimes I play 6, sometimes 10.. depends how many fishies |
