This is 100% real, as people are claiming it's fake. Downside that isn't visible on the movie: it needs a special track under to work.

not that impressive
it scratch the surface way too often causing skater to fall down
even basic rollerboard is still better lol

Thats like criticizing someone for eating lobster and caviar because it doesn't have optimal nutrition.

It isn't supposed to be "better" than a "rollerboard" its supposed to be a cool prototypical piece of technology.

They are probably working on floating cars running on superconducting tracks and some of the engineers wanted to have some fun and make a floating skateboard... I respect it

I totally support creating floating cars on superconducting tracks, its going to be sooo superior compared to massive 18th internal combustion engine cars everywhere. I also would hate it in case it wouldn't work properly with a high probability of getting a driver injured or dead. And i'm going to post on forums that thing sucks until research engineers make it any good.

nothing breakthrough considering it floats on a track. basically the same shit as before masked as something else

this has really good large scale applications. it'll take a long time before any kind of implementation is seen though, id imagine a place like the tesla office and other modern it companies or even a silicon valley type of area.

cant immagine battery life is longer then 5 min

it looks like the same quantum levitation parlor trick just with something big enough for a person to stand on
