These are in the micros, I've become a supernit when it comes to BR management I usually don't play a stake unless I have +80 buy ins.
I feel that I need to learn consistently to be able to move up.

This is only a hobby for me, I'm only a recreational player.

Start moving up at 10 buyins. It's not the old days. Keep most of your money offsite and if you bust reload another roll and grind back up or just buy back into where you were if you have built up enough money and moved it offline.

It's not like the old days where you just grind up a giant bankroll all online. I wouldn't even want to have 80 buyins for mid stakes in an online poker account. With the take and crap at micros if you are good I think you are better off just taking shots and plowing out of the slums when you get hot.

Bankroll nittiness used to be my biggest problem and I passed up so many profitable situations when I had the money just because of being way too overly nitty in this regard and it kept me in a low stakes/micro stakes hamster wheel of grinding and cashing out much smaller amounts than I was capable of

I have the opposite problem where I want to jump limits when im underrolled and keep moving up, but I dont have a regular job to re-bankroll myself with so ive had some moments where i fucked myself over and had to rebuild my roll almost from scratch @ the micros. Just depends on your situation I guess. If I had had better planning and more savings before jumping into poker fulltime I wouldve avoided so much stress and probably be playing higher stakes atm

Hey man it took 1807 hours which is 75 days total over a span of 3 years to play 1.29 million hands, I played roughly 1-2 days a week online on average for the past years. There would be stretches where I wouldn't play for months, then play everyday for a couple of weeks. The first time I withdrew money out was last Christmas and it was probably 20% of my roll, this was all but an experiment for me, because I remember watching some videos when I was just starting to play and I remember Di Dang or Hac Dang saying in a video that the most important thing is poker is bankroll management and he stated the he started out in 1c/2c games online and never went busto because of good bankroll management so I wanted to try this on my own.

I mostly played 200nl live and 50nl home games throughout my university years. I'm pretty sure compared to online grinders here on LP 1million hands is easy peazy.

this is going to sound like an epic brag. doing it anyway

I used to play 10nl (30k hands) or so 5 years ago, with the random online and live tournament in between.
Been busy building a house and changing 2 kids's diapers, so no time for online poker.
26/10/2015 i decided to play a random tournament, the first in five years, it was the $3 rebuy at stars and binked it for 3k+. 4 hours work. such an awesome feeling
now seeing someone play a million hands and making 2k puts it into perspective, an awesome perspective

thinking of getting a coach. how much will they charge just to keep repeating the words, wtf why do u think he is bluffing. since i swear this will up my winrate 5x
