Quake champion reportedly implicated in $1 million drug bust
A drug bust in Ostróda, Poland, has implicated a “world champion in computer games,” according to a report from the Ostróda police. Four men have been arrested for possession of nearly $1 million in illegal goods.
That champion is like likely 23-year-old Maciej “av3k” Krzykowski, the prodigy who became the youngest player to ever win a Quake championship in 2007 by winning the Electronic Sports World Cup at the age of 16.

What is the more "gamer" drug, stims or weed lol. He had both bases covered... I'm sad for him though... it must suck to be a superstar at 14 then start petering out

I helped referee the Quake lan tournaments he played in, back when the GGL was still alive and running in USA. Crazy to see that little kid turn into something bad, if true.

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN
