Really slow start so far but hopefully it picks up a bit. Enjoyed it overall but really not as much as I thought I would. I feel like the flashforward intro was way too long and maybe could have been something else entirely. Not sure if it's a 1 season show or not yet. The structure of this ep was a tad boring/mechanical and I expected more than some desperate legal runarounds and the carry-on with the skateboard kids but I guess we need a bit of that to establish his persona, fine. While it was cool to see Mike and Tuco it felt a bit obnoxious to run into them the way we did as they didn't really fit imo. Sure, technically Mike could have been working a ticket booth 6 years before breaking bad but I feel like it took something away from his character and it didn't really enrich the episode the way a 19 year old nerdy kid Saul could rip through would have. Oh well, early days.

I feel like that comment is towards me considering my post.
My idea is that the same creators stand behind it and BB had the same slow build, its what annoyed me I barely managed to even go through first 5 eps of BB. Anyway that being said you re totally right and its illogical to think otherwise

I stopped watching after 2-3 thought it was terrible. But reviews were so good, that I decided to give it one season before quitting, one thing led to another.. BB didn't get good until Walter started cooking w/ Jessie, before that it was just depressing as hell

2 episodes down... not overly impressed but I have faith they are setting some good shit up, i liked the way it began with the depressing cinnabunn scene but nothing too great yet, definitely will give it it's due time tho. BB is an all-time great and Vince Gilligan deserves my faith.

Most great shows have a slow build up. Sopranos, The Wire, BB. It takes times to set everything up. Also most shows that start very fast burn out after 1-2 seasons max.

That said I thought this episode was pretty good. Loved the ending.

Second episode already out, nice.

I agree with most of the opinions, this has a lot of potential.

I never watched Breaking Bad because it seemed to be way too hyped too fast in public opinion, but it's always fun to watch Bob Odenkirk

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

So far so good. Not liking these "cameo" appearances by all these dead breaking bad people though, (theyre not even playing themselves wtf is this) This thing will definitley pick up in time. "The Rise of Gus Fring" prequel set in Chile is what I hope will materialize in the future.
