I noticed that when someone is down or losing, they'll get a lot of support. Positive input, y'know, even if it is not always "kind". Its like seeing someone sad triggers some people to try and lend a hand. Then on the other side of the coin, when someone is doing really great, its less common that people chip in their kudos. Its like people, even those who aren't doing well, expect the default setting to be "doing good". I noticed that hearing about someone doing good makes certain types of mindsets feel bad about themselves, sooo maybe that's something about it. Its just someting that has been on my mind and I'm wondering where you land on the topic of how come people post and reply in the one case (sad brain people) and not on the other (people talking about doing things to expand themselves)? |
