in my opinion Microsoft's biggest mistake is sending out a press statement right before E3 with all the things you can NOT do with the new XBOX (trade games, play offline, mandatory kinect.) Giving Sony a nice target to aim at.



that mandatory kinect scares me anyway. i don't like having to be online all the time with a webcam watching my every move. stop trying to make it happen!

Not sure if many people on this site still play console games.

If I ever had a kids, I'll get them into PC gaming instead of console.

Won't be buying either but I like watching the lop sided battle unfold.

It's all about the titles. Who gives a shit about "offline play", since everyone leaves their console online anyway. As far as I know Kinect isnt a photographic camera, it's an insanely low res IR camera that reads dots projected from the Kinect device. I heard about this "always on" thing and I imagine it's just some idea so that you could like wave to your Kinect and it would turn the master power on and shit like that.

Not getting any of these things but i feel just as excited haha

Announcing GT6 for PS3 just saved me $399, as it was probably the only game that would have gotten me to buy a PS4.

Looks like Sony is on board to support the Oculus Rift. I will pledge my money to whichever console does.

I too am awaiting the 4k monitors from sharp panels, there is so much more I want to fit on my 30" that 4k would solve

I just want 4k monitors, however GFX cards aren't setup to run them properly yet, have to wait for next years gfx

Knowing nothing about either gaming consoles I'd bet on the PS3 being the must have machine. Id guess the playstation is sony's flagship product cause their other shit is like ehhhh, so they're gonna hit this one out of the park. Microsoft just has so much going on and knowing them they have something in mind moving their console forward.

The last console i bought.. or my parents bought me was the N64. Few years later I was introduced to starcraft. R I P Consoles.
