i wonder what happened to "euro fish"? wasnt that all the rage to be avoiding stars/ftp and playing euro sites because of "tough americans"? that was back in 2007 though haha. anyone care to explain what happened to the whole fishy euro site theory before?

im sure they were talking about richer central european countries ... romania and belarus was probably never that fishy

I remember pokertableratings had a list of all the countries' results and all the rich countries were getting absolutely murdered;

isn't that just because the rich countries generally have bigger player pools?

anyway i always thought worst were either italy or the south/central american countries.

This is pretty significant. It's not going to take that long for them to realize they want revenue from other states and countries player pools. The day is coming.

no good

Not too much talk about this so far, would be nice to hear from someone trying to play it regularly. I guess it kind of sucks that it's open in a place where people already have lots of access to gambling.

Edit: http://www.pocketfives.com/articles/ultimate-poker-review-588179/ A decent article on some of the staff behind it. At least some of them are coming from Pokerstars.

I downloaded it to see if I wanted to play on it while in Vegas. Unfortunately it looks like all the tables have a 50BB max buyin. I hope they fix that eventually.

AceJones   United States. Jun 15 2013 10:46. Posts 1

They knew they were opening with sub-par software. They decided to do it anyhow so they could officially be the first to open. They are working on all the bells and whistles, hopefully they have a good development team behind them. I have to agree, the 50bb max is way to low, they HAVE to fix that.
