Sigh... The fight most expected to end ITD, ends up going the distance...
Looks like a lot of people lost money on this fight, aside from the people who paid the -400 or more juice on Cormier straight. |

Gil down 3-1 in rounds, game over.
Pretty surprised catching kicks was part of the game plan. I mean they didn't work for Frankie, what made them think they'd work for Gil? |

I had it 3-2 for Benson as well.
Melendez would have won if he would have kept the pace. He slowed down after round 1. |

48-47 Bendo seems about right, could have been the other way and still feel right.
Good night for me. |

exactly what i think.
I also see it 3-2 Benson despite thinking he is an idiot.
Melendez could have won but at one point he slowed down too much. |

Those are my bets.
Henderson has the advantage in the main, but I feel like this will be a tough fight for him. I almost want to bet Melendez at +250... but I think line is about right. |
CosMadamus sees the fucking future bitches!!!
Scored the main fight 48-47 for Jesus Christ. Gilbert can win that fight thou.
Matt Brown is a fucking animal. O_O

Rousey on the left side. Looks like she was in shock while having to watch her boy get beat up.
----------
Random statement/question about Nate's payment by someone at MMA Junkie: That Diaz pay is obviously a mistake, he made 37/37 vs Cowboy at UFC 141 and made 50k for his last fight vs Bendo which he lost, so he was on a 50/50 for that fight.
Response from MMA Junkie staff: It's not a typo/mistake. That's the official disclosed payday.
Sounds like they restructured his deal, and there may have been some money upfront that isn't reflected here.
----------
Benson Henderson: $200,000 (includes $100,000 win bonus)
def. Gilbert Melendez: $175,000
Daniel Cormier: $126,000 (includes $63,000 win bonus)
def. Frank Mir: $200,000
Josh Thomson: $95,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
def. Nate Diaz: $15,000
Matt Brown: $60,000 (includes $30,000 win bonus)
def. Jordan Mein: $16,000
Chad Mendes: $56,000 (includes $28,000 win bonus)
def. Darren Elkins: $24,000
Francis Carmont: $38,000 (includes $19,000 win bonus)
def. Lorenz Larkin: $23,000
Myles Jury: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
def. Ramsey Nijem: $14,000
Joseph Benavidez: $66,000 (includes $33,000 win bonus)
def. Darren Uyenoyama: $12,000
T.J. Dillashaw: $28,000 (includes $14,000 win bonus)
def. Hugo Viana: $8,000
Jorge Masvidal: $60,000 (includes $30,000 win bonus)
def. Tim Means: $10,000
Anthony Njorkuani: $36,000 (includes $18,000 win bonus)
def. Roger Bowling: $12,000
Yoel Romero: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
def. Clifford Starks: $8,000
Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special discretionary bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays.
For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $50,000 UFC on FOX 7 bonuses to Romero and Thomson (dual "KO of the Night" winners), and Brown and Mein ("Fight of the Night").
