Is Chris Weidman eligible to fight GSP? I don't know about weight classes and stuff but that guy would definitely kill GSP and worthy of a big bet

Why all the animosity towards GSP ? Am i missing something? Nick wanted to make right before retiring, feel bad for him to get an exit like that with all the booing. What an awful crowd. Also, Nick didn't look hungry for the title.

Is it me or, looking at both mens, GSP just looks WAY stronger? like much bigger, more muscles, etc.

Yep GSP cuts a bunch of weight and is a huge welterweight, diaz is at least 10lb lighter

I love GSP but his stock slipped a little there. He had to beat Diaz at all costs but if a Hendrix or Ellenberger takes him out somewhere down the line I won't mind too much.

the only time i've seen someone still bitter as hell was when Paul Daley sucker punched Josh Koscheck in the side/back of his head after the fight ended. he was cut then sent to strikeforce, so as u can tell these guys care way more about not getting cut and getting paychecks than they do about their pride

Diaz looked light even for Diaz though.

I think GSP's stock grew just by the way he changed the way Diaz fought, Diaz looked nothing like the fighter who fought Penn or Condit, his striking output was less than GSP's because he had to worry about getting struck or taken down at all times. GSP spent a good amount of time on the feet vs Diaz and did pretty well, he was actually the one pressing forward while Diaz was just walking around taunting.

There was a bit size difference yes, people forget how huge GSP's legs are too. Ironically some people were saying diaz was looking bigger than normal leading up to the fight

Nah Georges' stock fell quite a bit imo, he didn't look invincible as usual and he played ever safer than usual. GSP has nothing for Andy thats for sure

On a more serious note, you can bitch about St. Pierre's style all you want but you can not deny that his technique is outstanding in all aspects of the game. Maybe he's not "entertaining enough" for you, but he's smarter than his opponents and will do whatever it takes to win. There is a reason he has won 11 fights in a row and he will continue to be great. I forsee his upcoming fight with hendricks as probably a similar kind of result though I think hendricks is a lot stronger of a wrestler than diaz.

I personally had hendricks winning over condit, though I thought it was really close but Condit needed to do more in round 1 or round 2. I think when you are getting 10+ takedowns regardless of doing anything out of it you are going to score a lot of points.
