his writing style is that of a gardener. His universe grows and now it is too big to be contained in a series of 7 books. A lot of fantasy writers suffer from this it seems

im confident he will finish book 6 by the time season 6 is out. considering storm of swords = 2 seasons and then we can probably assume feast for crows and dance with dragons are 3 seasons combined he has 5 full years to finish that. but finishing 2 books in 6-7 years? not likely

So basically they'll have to hire Brandon Sanderson to finish it and some random peasant will help out whoever is the main hero by then by taking up half the screen time doing weird stuff no one knew you could do.
