<img src="http://www.liquidpoker.net/staff/Raidern/09april/telkychallenge.jpg" align="right" style="margin:8px; border:1px solid black;">Two days after finishing 3rd at the WPT Championships, Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier will try to set a new world record in online poker. On April 28, 13h ET (tomorrow), he will try to be the player with the highest number of sit & go's played at the same time. It's not the first time Elky tries to set a record in poker. A couple years ago, he marked his name in PokerStar's history by becoming the first player ever to reach Supernova Elite Status.
The World Record attempt will take place in Monte Carlo, France, during the grand final of the European Poker Tour. It's obvious that Elky can't play the sit & go's alone, and they are open to anyone who wants to take part on it. Everyone that plays in one of the S&G will earn a ticket to a special freeroll with a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool. The freeroll will take place on May 6, at PokerStars. To be part of Elky's record attempt, all you have to do is:
* Open the PokerStars lobby and click 'Requests'.
* Select 'Find a Team PokerStars Player'.
* Click on ElkY to see a list of tables he will be playing on.
In order for the record to be valid, Elky must follow some rules:
* He has just one hour to open as many $6.50 Sit & Go’s as he can.
* He has to finish playing at all the tables he’s sat down at.
* He must finish with an overall positive bankroll.
PokerStars will be filming the event, so you can watch it at www.pokerstars.tv one day later, on April 29, 11h ET.

wait, overall positive bankroll? So, does that mean that he could start with a 1M bank roll, open 1000 of those 6.50 SnGs, lose ALL of them, and still get the record? Doesn't sound very hard to me.

I'm guessing you need someone from the site to be sitting next to you and verify that its one guy playing all of them.

what's the current record?
and does he get to use any huds / tableninja type of programs?
at least he's playing the micro stakes so competition will be soft as long as good players aren't assholes and sit at his tables to give him trouble, hehe

isnt this pretty luck based?
i mean lets say elky played 70 sngs, maybe there would be so many tables that his ROI would go as low as 1%, and sometimes he would win it and sometimes not
even if his ROI was 10% it would be possible for him to be down on his money if he got quite unlucky

I'm distinctly unimpressed. I've played 40 profitably with no add-ons. With Table Ninja I think I can do 62 and profit. Not significant.
tooker: there is very little money in stts.

Him having the tables tiled was a bit strange as well, I'd figure it would be much easier to do it with the tables were cascaded directly on top of each other.

He really handicapped himself by using 4 monitors imo. Im pretty sure if stars wants i can beat 62 without using any software(i'm assuming thats how many elky played in an hour and not at once).
BUT if elky played that many at once nm thats insane.
WHAT IS THIS

4 monitors makes it wayyy harder because you have to move your mouse across all 4 monitors. I've done 40 and i usually cascade it on one monitor so i don't have a sore neck from looking at 3 extra monitors.
