<img src="http://www.liquidpoker.net/staff/Pindarots/09Januari/elkyagain.jpg" align="right" style="margin:6px; border:0px solid black;">"Oops!... I Did It Again" might be what's going through his mind at the end of the day. Sick hero Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier took down another one to add to his already impressive list of tournament wins. In this PCA $25k High Rollers Event, the final 8 out of 48 would each get at least $45,700 for their effort, but all wanted almost 10 times that, the $433,500 first prize.
ElkY, who started with the 3rd biggest stack, started aggressive as usual. He was involved in most pots and it was no surprise to see him be the first to knock one out. Nick Schulman got it in with against ElkY's pocket tens. Fortunately, only low cards followed and Schulman is out in 8th place. Next to leave was Daniel Alaei, who got very unlucky twice against Liya Gerasimova. First he lost with kings against (she flopped 2 pair), then he lost in a similar fashion, this time kings against AJo. The classic "Ace on the River" knocked him out.
A huge and decisive pot followed for ElkY. He lead out before the flop and on the , Humberto Brenes donkbet into ElkY, who just called. On the turn, Humberto bets again, and this time ElkY raises. Brenes takes his TV-time before he goes all-in which is snapcalled by ElkY (gotta love the look on Humberto's face). He has ElkY covered tho, who shows pocket tens for a higher set and doubles up. While Eli Elezra makes his exit after having pocket fives dominated by pocket queens from Gerasimova, it doesn't take long before Brenes is out as well. On an open-shove he gets called by Scott Seiver, who has him dominated with against . The board comes and Humberto goes bananas! Seiver isnt out yet, and when the falls on the turn he's got a flushdraw. "If I make my flush draw I’m going to <A name="cutnews"></A>get up and actually do a lap around the table screaming" he says, and there's the and that was what we could witness. Brenes is out and we're down to 4.
Next elimination is again for Seiver, who beats Gerasimova with aces vs 86s. ElkY however doesn't change his strategy, still playing a lot of pots and dominating the table, and it doesn't take long before he has Scott "mastrblastr" Seiver all-in. With he's ahead of Seiver's and a on the turn gives him the checkmark, and he's heads-up with Will Molson with about a 6:1 chiplead. And it's the very first hand that seals it. Molson open-shoves with and ElkY finds and calls. Again an ace on the turn and it's done, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier wins another big event and cashes in the $433,500 first prize and another trophy for his living room. Congratulations once again!
1. Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier $433,500
2. Will Molson $228,000
3. Scott Seiver $137,000
4. Liya Gerasimova $91,300
5. Humberto Brenes $70,800
6. Eli Elezra $68,500
7. Daniel Alaei $57,000
8. Nick Schulman $45,700

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.
I was playing poker with tarot cards the other night. I got a full house and four people died. WTF...welcome to finland...

So she lost with 86s vs aces . She actually moved all-in after a(nother) raise preflop from ElkY, while Seiver had aces behind her.
