wow, this is great because ftp is some big, serious site. However, not having rakeback sucks. So I really would think twice before doing this.

what i meant was NL10 on stars doesn't have hugely high rake, so you can keep playing there without rakeback as it won't affect you too much

whereas on FTP i have heard the rake @ their NL10 is really high so rakeback is important to get there.

to answer ur original question though, rakeback becomes important NL25+, but its not life or death, just a couple of extra buyins each month as far as i know. definitely useful if you already play on a site that offers it. i stuck it out at stars though cos im a stars addict

Once you've reached the thousand points, you can cash out the 50 $, but can you cash with certainty the extra money you made with the free bucks you recieved?
It would be logic, but I want to make sure, before I built up a bankroll with the free 50 bucks for nothing. And is there some kind of time limit to reach the thousand points? ( besides the 120 days fot the extra 50 $)

Sorry to bump an old thread, but i'm kinda confused by this promo. My understanding is that FTP does allow US players, right? In that case, how come they won't allow us players to sign up for this promotion? I'm outside of the US right now, but I'll be going back there in the fall. Does that mean that if I sign up for this now, I won't be able to use my money in the fall?

Also, are you unable to withdraw ANY money before getting the points, or just that initial money? And can you transfer it to someone else?
