wow i really dislike the new look, it's like way too much stuff in one place i liked the old simpler look this just adds SOME unnecessary items with links that were already there...

hmm maybe I should bookmark the frontpage instead of the forums now

sorry to sound like an ass, i'm sure a lot of effort went into this and i appreciate the effort i honestly do...but i don't appreciate the result

could we please have the option of getting rid of all those boxes with links to stuff that we could already access...

Screw having a slogan that nobody uses. Just have it say Liquid Poker. Looks much more elegant.

Good effort, I like the new look, but just logging in for the first time in a couple of days I was taken aback a little by all the new shit. -p

The news area is pretty cluttered now, I think we could easily just do without the big "Liquid Poker: Flush It!" banner now, that image/template can be used for something else in the main page to save space. I don't know, it doesn't look bad, I just think once we get to four columns of "stuff" people start getting confused.

and why the fuck is there a stack of $1 bills on the front page banner???!?!?

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I can see there's no "additional" content just more of the content that was already present shoved onto the front page instead of requiring navigation through what I thought was a pretty easy system of links on either side of the page?

Oh and btw are the feathered hands and other featured stuff, is that chosen through a set system based on something like views/hits, responses, ratings or random or someone is required to constantly update it?

There is also the highlighted forum topics, this are some of the more active topics that are going on and should usually be interesting. Finally there are the notable hands, this shows hands that have a large number of replies or a pot that is many times the big blind.

I have numerous gripes about this but w/e seems like in general everyone likes it but a select few so I'll deal and just change default page

rather confusing and too much detail, but i suppose it needs to get used to it.

Some of you should look at it differently.. Basically nothing changed, except there's more now.

You are only confronted with the frontpage when you enter the website. It displays an index of all recent & interesting developments within the community. The website is still as simple as it always was.

It's just a matter of getting used to it. Just like you can't hold still forever yourself, LP needs to develop itself too

I like it a lot I always hated about our frontpage that interviews and articles didn't get the spotlight they deserved (nor did old newsposts), same goes for blogs the good blogs got pushed down by the bad ones and were often missed out on.
