Hello folks!! This is certainly a newsworthy subject as our very own grim reaper, the WSOP heads up winner, Daniel "Rekrul" Schreiber was selected to play in the NBC Heads Up Championship tournament! He won his title from the WSOP $5,000 heads up event in 2007 and is now proving to the televised scene that he's no fluke! The action will be underway soon, and while there isn't any life feed (as far as we know), CardPlayer.com is kind enough to provide the news hungry folks with reasonably accurate live updates!
The play will start with four brackets, Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs. Rek will begin with a match against one of the old men of poker, T.J. Cloutier! Let us wish luck for him!! The winner of the match will play the winner of J.C. Tran vs Annie Duke match.
Other interesting draws include Phil Ivey vs Alisha Kunze, Gabe Kaplan vs Patrik Antonius, Clonie Gowen vs Jennifer Tilly (lol), Doyle Brunson vs Sammy Farha and several others! I'm sure this will be one entertaining tournament so stay tuned for updates!

I usually play NL1000, but accidentally misclicked.
muhweli do you not know who TJ is? He's a better poker player than rekrul. Rekrul has more passion and should beat him more often cause he cares more, TJ is an old man and has nothing to prove. Heads up often comes to coin flips anyways.
