Pokerstars flagship SCOOP hits southern europe with €15 million guaranteed

The prestigious Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) will hit the online felts of PokerStars players in the Southern Europe shared player market from March 24 to April 11, with a massive €15 million for the taking.

Last year, the well-loved series proved popular among players in Spain and France, attracting more than 37,000 unique entries, while this year marks the first time players in Portugal can battle alongside those in France and Spain for a SCOOP title.

The 290-event schedule features two tournaments, each with €1 million guaranteed, a €250 buy-in EQUINOX event on March 24 and €250 buy-in Main Event on April 7. Another key highlight will be the €10 buy-in Super Classico with a €200,000 guarantee on March 24.

Buy-ins start from just €5 and reach €250, perfect for players of all bankrolls. Players can also win their way to Southern Europe SCOOP events via satellites from just €1, and via €12.50 Spin & Go satellites, specifically for the EQUINOX and Main Events.

Italy will have its very own SCOOP series featuring a €5 million guarantee. The series will kick start on the same day as its Southern Europe counterpart, but will come to a close on April 8. The €250 buy-in Main Event with a €500,000 guarantee will take also place on April 7.
