 It looks like first month of 2019 wasn't very easy on everybody. Legendary high-stakes player Daniel "Jungleman" Cates shared that he has been having a rough time of it in Bobbys Room at the Bellagio over January. The American posted a couple of videos to his Instagram feed to update his fans and it did not sound like it was going well.

Cates went around the table during a couple of his sessions and showed more than a few familiar faces on his instagram feed and videos. The first session being the same as Gus Hansen showed us a couple of weeks back. Timofey “Trueteller” Kuznetsov and Scott Seiver were both present with a satisfied look to their faces.
Cates soon explained why his oponnents at the table were so happy and showed his stack with a short comment:
“....losing a Lamborghini or something...”
A couple of days later the action was back to Bobbys Room again with some new players at the tables - however one of the players wanted to remain anonymous. The hooded character was being slightly goaded by Cates who said he had only just met the guy and he didn’t want to talk. Online legend Chris Kruk was also in the game, with standard visitors like Gus Hansen back again, of course.
So how much did Jungleman lose in January? He gave no specific numbers, but with stakes this high we can only expect the numbers to be high 6 figures, at least.
