 partypoker LIVE has announced the stops for Season 3 of the MILLIONS tour, with each Main Event switching to freezeout format for 2019. The tour will stop at four locations across the globe and will culminate with the MILLIONS Online tournament towards the end of the year.

partypoker LIVE has implemented various changes in the way the events will be run based on player feedback, including making each Main Event freezeout format at a standard 10,300 buy in (in local currency).
John Duthie, president of partypoker LIVE said: “Our MILLIONS Season 2 tour has been very successful, however we pride ourselves on listening to player feedback and continually improving our offering to ensure we provide the best live tour in the world.
“As part of this we are going to change the format of our MILLIONS tournaments to a 10,000 (local currency) freezeout, with reduced late registration and no multiple Day 1s. The schedules will be reduced to a maximum of seven days, giving the host venues the option to add their own events around the tournament to build the festival.
“We will also have one MILLIONS trophy that will travel to all of the stops and will be inscribed with the winners’ details following each event.
“We want the MILLIONS brand to be synonymous with being one of the most prestigious live competitions in the world. We hope these changes will allow us to improve and build our MILLIONS tour to make it the best LIVE experience for our players.”
Online satellites to the first leg of 2019 at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro (March 15-24) are already running, with partypoker expecting to welcome over 200 qualifiers through live and online satellites to the $5m GTD season opener.
