Matthias Eibinger took down the EPT Prague €50,000 Super High Roller after outlasting a star-studded field of 40 entries. Eibinger claimed his first PokerStars live event title which came along with a handsome €653,000 top-prize.

Eibinger started the final day with a commanding chip lead, guarding more than a half of all chips in play with four players left in contention. However, Andras Nemeth overtook the pole position within the first hour of play, knocking out Pavel Plesuv in fourth and Liang Xu in third place, respectively.

Eibinger entered the heads-up against Nemeth with a huge chip-deficit, and Nemeth tackled him to an eight-to-one disadvantage at one point. A series of doubles helped Eibinger stay afloat, and he eventually regained the lead. He delivered the final blow to Nemeth's stack in a preflop confrontation which saw Eibinger river a three-outer with his weaker ace-high.

Nemeth had to settle for €451,350 second-prize. Xu took €288,090 for his third-place finish and Plesuv picked up €220,870 for fourth. Luc Greenwood (fifth for €172,850) and Charlie Carrel (sixth for €134,440), who were both eliminated on Day 2, also finished with a profit as the top six finishers shared slices of a €1,920,600 prize pool.
