The PokerStars-sponsored European Poker Tour (EPT) returns to Sochi from March 20 to 29, 2019, marking the first stop of the year for the iconic poker tour. Casino Sochi will host a schedule of more than 20 events with buy-ins ranging from 6,600RUB to 375,000RUB, including the Main Event, which guarantees a prize pool of 150,000,000RUB (approx. $2.3 million).

“I’m looking forward to seeing the EPT return to Sochi in 2019,” said PokerStars Ambassador Mikhail Shalamov. “It’s such an exciting and popular event. The fact this is the fifth time that PokerStars Live has visited the region in two years proves that! I’m excited to see what PokerStars have in store for the event next year.”

If you don't have an account on Pokerstars yet and would like to start playing poker online and making money, you can create your account on PokerStars right away.

Poker fans can spin their way to an EPT Sochi package worth $4,400 for free through the ‘Win a Free Trip to Sochi’ promotion. The package includes the RUB192,000 Main Event entry, seven nights’ accommodation for two at the five-star Sochi Marriott Krasnaya Polyana and $549 in travel expenses.

New players who register a Stars Account between November 12, 2018 and March 17, 2019 will receive 10 free to play Spin & Go tickets. Existing players will get three free Spin & Go tickets. The Stars Code ‘SOCHITRIP’ must be entered to receive the free Spin & Go tickets.

Additional Spin & Go’s will run from November 12 until December 31, where four Main Event packages are guaranteed. Online satellites are currently running, giving players further opportunities to head to Russia’s Black Sea coast.

In addition to exciting action at the tables, all attendees can benefit from a dedicated, quick and easy Russian visa service, free merchandise for all Main Event players and a wide range of activities away from the felt, such as night skiing and snowboarding.

EPT Sochi 2018 Main Event winner Arsenii Karmatckii from Russia and EPT Open Sochi 2018 Main Event winner Vyachesav Bondartsev from Kazakhstan both won Platinum Passes worth $30,000 each to the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) in January, 2019.

Russia is currently sending the most players to the PSPC with 25, followed by the USA with 20 and Brazil with 19. With just two months left until the event there are still more than 50 Platinum Passes to be awarded. Platinum Passes will be available at the following upcoming live events:
