Leon Tsoukernik, the owner of King's Casino, where another edition of WSOPE festival has just finished, was busy not only with the World Series as he also organised a high stakes cash game there. According to some sources the limits went as high as to €20,000/€40,000!
Leon Tsoukernik invited to the game the biggest names, of course with properly stashed wallets. There was the Australian king of cryptocurrencies, Matt Kirk, well-known politician and player Tony G, the owner of Dusk Till Dawn casino Rob Yong and the Main Event 2018 champion from WSOP John Cynn, as well as Hall of Fame member Bobby Baldwin i and great poker player Ben Lamb.
Their PLO cash game was not streamed from WSOP Europe, but thanks to poker forum 2+2 we got to know some details. One of the users described how Tony G “won a two-million pot against Leon [Tsoukernik]”. He also confirmed that Matt Kirk won a lot of money and then he moved to craps table.
Here is how Tony G himself described the happening of the evening:
[o]“Poker is my sport, my hobby, my passion. These were fantastiv few days at Rozvadov, at King's poker room. It was terrific to be among the best players of the world. See you next time guys! Play to win!”[/o]
Another 2+2 user known as “Comanche”, wrote: “I was there for two days. Tony G won a 3-way all-in pot worth altogether about €3,000,000. Next day Tony G talked with Bobby Baldwin. Tony asked how he was doing and he said he had lost €800,000, but he smiled and said it was ok”.
Hard to say who the biggest winner was, but as Tony G commented on his Twitter: “Everybody was a winner, especially me!”.
