 The World Poker Tour (WPT) organizers have announced recently the second half of the Season XVI WPT Main Tour schedule. There are seven new stops on the updated list.
The remainder of season XVI will feature several popular stops we all know and like, but there is one change worth noting. At the moment it looks like the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star event, which was a popular tournament among players, will not be there during season XVI.
The tournament has been been part of WPT's schedule since second season, when Phil Gordon defeated Chris Moneymaker in the heads-up play to win the tournament for $360,000 first prize. It's still unclear will the event return in the future as WPT has not made any comment on the situation yet.
WPT's new year will kick off European style at SpielBank Berlin and continue with six premier poker events through the U.S.A. and Canada. Check out the new list of events below.
