Bill Perkins made another crazy prop bet with Jaimie Staples and his brother

Hedge fund manager, a passionate poker player and a very very rich guy, Bill “GASTRADER” Perkins, just made recently another very interesting prop bet with Jamie Staples and his brother, Matthew Staples.

The two brothers are known in the poker world mostly for their poker streams on Twitch.tv, and they have been spending the last week or so with Bill Perkins on his yacht while streaming their poker game.

Perkins decided to make a prop-bet with them at this point: it is a weight loss/gain bet, where the two brothers could win up to $150,000 and risk only $3,000 to lose.

Many fellow poker pros have already commented the bet and Doug Polk who thinks the two brothers might be actually underdogs in this one:
Doug Polk: “How much do you weigh right now?”
JS: “I dunno, but something about 150 kilos”
DP: “I’m just saying it’s not gonna be easy to lose 50k nor to gain over 30. May be more difficult than you both think”

Feel like this is an easy win for Perkins. Even if Jaime works his ass off, how hard must it be to get within 1 lb of his brother.

yeah, bill prob just doing this as an incentive for jaime to be healthier, being this fat at his age is a disaster

Jaime has to lose while his brother starts gaining. Going to be harder for his brother to gain as he is prob 120 lbs soaking wet. Jaime will lose a lot at the beginning. They both need to get professional trainers/dietitians to have a good shot.
