The complete schedule for the 2017 World Series of Poker is still being finalized but this week the tournament organizers have announced the dates for six of the marquee weekend events that many players plan their summer poker trips to Las Vegas around.

The six key events that were announced for the 48th annual WSOP are as follows:

June 2-4 – $565 Colossus III two starting flights a day at 10 am and 4 pm for three consecutive days
Jun. 10-11 – $1,500 Millionaire Maker one starting flight each day at 10 am
Jun. 16, 18- $1,000 Seniors and Super Seniors 10 am start times on Friday for seniors, Sunday for Super Seniors
Jun. 24-25 – $1,500 Monster Stack 10 am starting flights on Saturday and Sunday
July 1-2 – $888 Crazy Eights two starting flights a day at 10 am and 4 pm for two consecutive days
Jul. 8-10 $10,000 main event one starting flight a day at 11 am for three consecutive days

The WSOP also announced that the Little One For One Drop rebuy event, which raises money for the One Drop charity, will likewise return in 2017 as a post-main event tournament with starting flights on Jul. 11-13. It will be the final event of the schedule.

The official dates for the festival were announced last December. This year the series will run for 49 days, from May 30 – Jul. 17. More than 70 official bracelet events are expected to be on the schedule.

The Colossus III will be the first major weekend event of the series. The $565 buy-in re-entry no-limit hold’em event features a $1 million guaranteed first-place prize. There will be two starting flights per day, at 10 am and 4 pm, from Jun. 2-4. The format allows for one re-entry per flight. In the past two years the tournament has drawn 43,987 entries in total, with 22,374 entries in 2015 and 21,613 in 2016.

The next weekend will host the ‘Millionaire Maker’ event. It has 10 am starting flights on Jun. 10-11. There is a single re-entry in the $1,500 event, which like the Colossus features a $1 million guaranteed top prize.

The centerpiece of the whole series, the WSOP $10,000 main event, runs from Jul. 8-17 this year. The three starting flights will be held on Jul 8-10.

The WSOP also announced this year that players will be able to enter tournaments using a credit card as a payment option for events costing up to $10,000.

The final schedule for the entire 2017 WSOP is expected to be released in February.
