Olivier Busquet beats JC Alvarado in a MMA fight - watch the video!

Olivier Busquet and JC Alvarado met in a MMA match to settle their bet for 150.000$. They both had 6 months to train - and previously only Alvarado had some experience in MMA fighting style.

They both agreed to fight at their weight 187,5 pounds for Busquet (~85kg) and 165 pounds for Alvarado (~75kg).

The match happened (obviously) in Las Vegas, around 19:00 local time. After three rounds, each lasting two minutes, of brutal pummeling and face smashing, the fight was stopped by a medical staff and as Alvarado could barely (if at all) see through his left eye, as it was swollen from blood. Technical knock out was awarded to Olivier Busquet.

All of the non-profit proceeds went to the One Drop charity.

JC Alvarado commented on his Twitter after the defeat: "My biggest fear was not having heart. I couldn't execute what I know I can do, but I'm out of the hospital with a big smile on my ugly face. It wasn't my night, but no excuses. Congrats to @olivierbusquet for getting the job done. whooped my ass good.",

They definitely are in great shape asthetically and im sure their conditioning was on point. But honestly they should have been eating much more. As far as i can tell there was no limitation on being a certain weight class for the fight. So being this lean is really silly imo. Definitely should both have tried to be 20 pounds heavier than they were. EDIT: Im saying from what i understand they agreed to fight at any weight they weigh in at? I think agreeing to give the handicap in weight is weird o.0. I'm probably wrong i dunno -_-
