The US Department of Justice has filed a new amendment to the complaint against three biggest poker operators. With this action, the DOJ is targeting finances of Howard Lederer, Ray Bitar, Chris Ferguson and Rafe Furst.

The Second Amended Complaint in details shows what happened to the $137,000,000 that was paid out the FullTilt Poker owners from players money.
Citing a slew of statutes including the Wire Act, The Illegal Gambling Business Act and now the Travel Act, the DOJ is calling the distributions proceeds of an illegal enterprise and therefore subject to forfeiture: "There is probable cause to believe that the Defendant Properties constitute, or are traceable to property used in illegal gambling businesses."

The US Department of Justice is looking to recover following amount of money:

    $42,500,000 from Howard Lederer
    $42,000,000 from Chris Ferguson
    $40,800,000 from Ray Bitar
    $11,700,000 from Rafe Furst

Howard Lederer, according to the US Department of Justice, used company money to fund his personal banking accounts, retirement funds, mortgage payments and the purchase of various high value goods, including a Maserati, four Audis and a 1965 Shelby Cobra. Ray Bitar is supposed to buy two homes with the company money. There are no details at how Chris Ferguson or Rafe Furst used their money at the moment.

they are probably going to put them in jail, but I doubt they'll recover much of that money

putting them behind bars might be as, if not more important than recovering the money long term for online poker

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

uhoh

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN
