you easily c/f flop with btm pair overcard and backdoor straight draw for halfpot?
preflop for 2x you think it's not even close?

yeah i mostly hate pf and river, you are somewhat commited to calling flop and turn after calling pf

How can we fold Q6 to 2x? what % are u defending vs steal from the bb? I would assume we should be calling anything reasonable given the price.

I really haven't considered that at all. I defend just as wide at 100nl. Im calling around 40-45% and 3betting 10%. Is rake crushing my potential win/loss rates from the blinds?

fold = -1bb/h

effective rake = 4bb/100 = 0.04bb/hand (?)

so you have to actually assume 4bb/100 winrate to break even

btw snowie assumes -0.09bb/hand for Q6o (not that it means anything, but i ve seen otb applying exact snowie ranges for some spots)

if you're 3betting 10% (i'd 3bet more like 15 but w/e) then calling the next best 40-45% of hands, Q6o probably wouldnt make the cut

I'd put Q6o in the 60th percentile and regularly defend it for 2x at 2/4+ but I'd leave it out at 1/2 as part of my default range

remember when you see HSNL defending ranges they're paying like max 0.1bb in rake and at 1/2 you're paying up to 1.4bb(!)

did you just divide rake cap by bb? thats not the right thought process

thou mine is flawed too, its 4bb/100 overall, its obv higher after seeing flop

my db: bb call vs btn

nl200: 3287 hands, rake paid $1423 = 711.5bb

0.22bb/hand

if winrate - 0.22 is higher than -1, its a call
so i just proved its a call lol?

It was just a simple way to point out how much more rake you're paying at low stakes compared to high stakes

If we really want to quantify things then ofc I prefer going to DB and getting rake paid in bb/100 for that specific spot as you did

I think you need to add in a variable for RB% into your formula to finalize it

Are these from snowie? If they are I'm pretty sure that Snowie has already taken the -1bb out of the BB so these represent EV of calling not our bb/100 winrate as it does in HEM

Q6o still a fold and all of these listed hands are folds as well (pre rakeback) since they are all under 0.22bb/100

that sound right?

fold is shown as 0ev, so i assume its bb/hand, without accounting for folded blind

Ok i need to equilab my ranges.

Also dogmeat isnt snowie defense ranges based on snowie BU opening % which is a fair bit lower than every reg ?
