I've started the day as finished yesterday. I was playing confidently but suckouts happend again and again. I took a little breakfast break and was thinking about my game and decided to play only on 3 tables instead of 4. And it worked. I had enough time to observe players, and think about important decisions. I won back my 2 buyins I lost yesterday and won another 2. And now I will watch the n...

After I grinded back my way to NL25 I took a shot today again. It started very very well. I was playing my new laggy style which I've played thru like 6k hands at NL10. I've openraised and 3betted a wide range of hands and played premiums aggressively.

Then suddenly every single player started to give me badbeats.

The worst hands I called allin with was sets. If I had a set villain...

Why do ppl always have a flopped straight against my set? :D

[HAND=478783]

Am I supposed to fold in these situations? I don't think so. Folding a set in a 3betted pot because of a minraise is weak imho. If I just flat it I won't have enough money on the turn to make any action except nobrain allin with ridiculously small amount of money.

Well, it' seems the bad run continues IRL instead of poker. Nothing happend but my kneel started to hurt after a long time again. I'm afraid to visit a doc, because I guess the end will be a surgery. I'm in the middle of my exam period, but I can't really stand the pain anymore.

Looks like it's a curse on me or something... Today I couldn't win one single 80-20, OR BETTER! I really mean it. I'm not playing junk hands, or doing some gambling, no, I'm playing like a nit, only with premium hands and even if I hit I lose the pot. For example JJ on button, I raised, guy reraised me and I called. I hit my set ...

The week started horrible at NL25. I've dropped out 5bi because of suckouts, outdraws, flushes vs flushes, sets over sets, T2P vs set and such things. I could cry like a baby, because I couldn't even win a 80-20.

After those monkeytilting games I've bought in for a 5+0.5$ 1K guaranteed tournament... but I realized too late, it's a rebuy tourney... bleh. Because of some donkaments I was able ...

So, after playing some WoW tonight and bored my ass off I've entered a 5+0.5$ 2,5K guaranteed tourney on UB with about 550 participants. First 60 places paid, but until the FT there were really poor prices. I was pretty carddead until the first break, but I could double up several times and I was above the avarage chipstack. I was playing my usual tight aggressive style, and when the bubble cam...

So far, so good! I'm up to 10+ buyin in a week at NL10. Started at 200$, and now I have 310+. I'm not playing too much tho, 1,5-2 hours session per day. I just don't wanna get bored and feel myself forced to play. With that tendency I could hit 500$ in 1,5-2 weeks and could thinking about move up to NL25 if I'm confident with my play.

Some keyhands from my last session, which is just ended b...

Hey LP, I think it's time to start my own blog, and in good style I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Albert and I'm a 22 years old Computer Science major in a local college. I'm playing poker for about a 1,5 years now online and IRL also. It just became "serious" in the last 2-3 months. That doesn't mean I want to play poker for...
