Pokerstars VIP store shipment =(

I recently sent a message to pokerstars VIP store to inquire about the status of some iPod that I ordered 4 weeks ago. To my dismay I receive no email response from them for 3 or 4 days.

Has anyone experienced similar silence from the VIPstore lately? Normally they are very receptive and quick to response.

Thanks for your response.

Why does it take this long for me to realize this?

I've become so nitty that people couldn't stack me, or at times don't want to play for stacks even when they have cracked my overpairs.

On the other hand I miss so much values e.g. I wouldn't put in a raise on a semi-scary boards with a limped set.

Overall it results in a low varianace, modest winning style so I guess that's okay.

So how do I not get stacked?

Played NL50 instead of NL100 because of wonky internet connecgtion. Made 5 BIs or so yesterday while winning a few flips over 1.5k hands lol

My quality of play, well, sometimes I play well, sometimes I am too weak-tight, sometimes I make bets that no worse hands call, sometimes I am too wild.

I need more balance and more consistency. Hope I can find them in ...

Switching jobs between April to June. Which means I will have a chance to realize playing full-time poker for the entire month of May. Needless to say I am very excited about this challenge.

The bad thing is, I have been losing for 1 year, playing 50NL sparingly, perhaps 3 or 4 long 1k+ hand sessions per month. Lost about 1.5k. This after playing every day after school (before I graduated) f...

The adjustments that I mentioned last day, well, they weren't needed, when I managed to sit at tables where people weren't overly aggressive e.g. like to limp.

Moreover, the regs that I encountered today were TAGs, but they weren't that tricky or tough. So I was able to make another 6 BIs on this day playing relatively straightforward and solid.

After a 3-month hiatus I realized that I can't live without poker. The game is fun and making money is fun. QED

Here are some changes that I decide to incorporate into my game for the next little while:

1) Raise much less frequently in the blinds. So what if I pick up JJ or AQ? We are supposed to disguise our hands. So there is no need to ring alarm bells for our villains. Also, rarely re...

Don't know which board this topic should go, so how about my blog?......

During my recent sessions I have been checking TPGK+ / overpair on drawy flops quite a bit, vs both decent player or stationy donks. The downside is of course I give out free cards to drawing hands. On the other hand I keep the pot small and/or underrepresent my hand quite a bit, and could get a worse pair to try to blu...

Strip poker sounds horny, but it's not my thing. At least IMO not a good way to start romance, because even after the strip my mind is still full of poker.

Or maybe because I always end up losing as I a) run really bad and 2) always do retarded things?

So earlier tonight me and Arielle decided to play some SNG style strip poker. Just a few hands in I called preflop with T3, b3b-pushed a K...

Took a 1-week break after losing like 10 buys at each of NL50 and NL100. Solution: Make them back at higher stakes.

I recorded a nice $700+ today at 200NL:
