Had a session tonight where i wanted to play tight and 2 tables for 1 hr.

I made 2 bad decisions in 2 hands and ended up down $100. I then had to grind for the next 3 hours, and play well, and finished up +$200.

AA - I thought he may have QQ KK, and also have a set... Proved he had a slightly dangerous hand.

I have been playing probably the best i ever have online, but still have a lot of leaks, where I am frustrated and make a bad play. Don't get me wrong this hasnt happened many times! But i want to avoid it.

Ok so things are running well for me, and I am happy.

I spent last weekend with a friend at the Crown casino on a holiday & we watched the aussie millions for a bit and played some ring games and had a great time in the clubs. It was a great experience.

Since then, I have played 4 sessions on NL.

1) 81 hands for +$114 (staked someone really easily) [HAND=361562]

2) Was my longes...

Solid, was a bit unsettled early. I find once i have a bit of a stack between $75 - $100 i play better.

I am off to melbourne for aussie millions on Friday. Not gonna play any tourneys, but going with a good friend and going to play some ring games & we are staying at the Crown casino. Looking forward to it.

I have had a good week so far. Lets hope it can c...

Only played the one session today.
Started off sluggish, and then i made a really bad call with a board paired flop with my AA... and i got really pissed off and had to play better. Towards the end of the session i felt really confident and in charge of my tables.

I also made a sick lay down with a 10 high flush, and should have pushed the turn, but i think i saved money laying it down!?? l...

This session had 2 key hands...

I would like any comments... Thanks.

Another 2 hr short session. I am getting tired at work, and i think i have to be much more disciplined with my play. I want to be in charge of all my decisions and not let emotions take over at the table. I have been reading a lot and trying to make my poker more effective and see the reason to now devote more time to ot...

Solid grind this morning for 2 hrs, while i played the $10k gtd. Busted out, felt unsettled during the whole tourney. My ring games went well. Short session, and i am going back to sleep.
PF raise is a bit worrying, i played too passively.

Played last night when i got home at 6am - 9am. Had an awesome night. Went out with my good friends. We will probably go to melbourne in 2 weeks to catch the last weekend of the Aussie millions. The ring games will be really good. Basically it will be good to get a weekend away, provided i can get a day off work on the friday.

1k hands, ended down -$90. I was pretty drunk. Was down $180 at o...

Okay i am struggling getting used to 25NL..

My biggest problem is that i am being over aggressive with AA / KK, i am always 3 - 4 betting the usual raise and they have folded literally every time.

In 1400 hands i have seen AA - 4 times for +$3
and KK i have seen 9 times for +$3. The biggest pot, i had KK cracked by AKos for $6...

Man this is harder than I thought... I am struggling at...

Okay. Now I have just sepent some time reading other peoples blogs, and I think it is time i start my own.

I have been playing poker for about 2 and a half years. The problem is that I have never been able to build a bankroll through continuos solid play. I usually end up blowing multiple buy ins from some bad beats which are then followed by marginal situations which are relatively easy fol...
