On Sunday, July 1, I will be flying back to Seoul, South Korea, for the first time in 8.5 years. I will be in Seoul until July 31.

While I have a packed schedule ahead of me, I am interested in meeting up with those of you who are still in Korea. I'll still be watching UFC events while I'm in Korea, so if you want to watch those with me, we can do that and drink some beers and talk some shit (UFC starts at 7am/8am in Korea).

In regard to the UFC threads, I'll try to post them all (5 in total) before I leave to Korea. Nothing should change in regard to me being active during UFC events, aside from not being able to play in DraftKings events due to the country restriction.

Right now I have a 5 year old macbook pro which isn't suited for poker, and want to buy a laptop more geared towards poker.

Need recommendations for laptops, and also for all the necessary software I need, such as PIO, monkersolver, etc. Thanks!

It's a news that says a physician was on board of a flight when a passenger showed symptoms of a heart attack. The company asked if there was a doctor on board to help the passenger and he raised his hand and helped him. Everything turned out ok in the end. That was in march 2017. Some days ago he made a post on facebook saying that he still waiting the company to pay for his service. The company replied his post saying that he volunteered and they don't pay for such 'services'. He replied saying that it would have been very expensive if the company had to land the airplane in order to give the passenger medical assistance.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on it

I have the firestick and no reason for cable really cause i watch everything online or thru the firestick but i do miss my live sports for football...can anyone help with a link to watch some football every week?

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody was interested in subletting my place in vegas. It's at the veer, which aside from the vdara (cheaper than vdara) is imo the most convenient place to grind live cash in las vegas from (>panorama, martin, meridian, etc). It's not super furnished but there is a sofa bed + additional mattress, and new dining table which i picked out that I double as my computer desk, and a sick 72x40 double sided rolling whiteboard (lol). Its a small space (studio) but <3 it and its very nice/modern.

Lease goes through August 1st so you are good to grind from start to end of World Series of Poker. Also you will be able to grind the games in mid march during march madness which are the nuts.

You can stay for a couple months. Only thing would be that since I am just gauging interest on here I am not going through the landlord so I ask for some sort of discretion with that.

I'm paying $1,350 and would be willing to sublease for less as I am not really looking to make a profit margin or anything. I'm willing to go lower depending on the length of your stay.

Games are getting tougher, winrates lower, rakeback and vip systems are going down, basically poker got harder to beat. However, there are still players that completely crush the games and make insane money.

Yeah, now he's gonna say "all you need is motivation and a strong will to learn and develop your skills". Sounds like bullshit right?

"Ive made some posts here before, and ive met several of the members over aim conversations and the like. However, i am starting to feel like I am stuck in a hopeless situation. Every time i begin to do well, i have a huge roller coaster ride and end up broke again, ending up having to reload. Again I am down to my last 30$, and I just dont even know what to say. However, i really love the game of poker; a lot. If i didnt, I wouldnt be here today, and i wouldnt of tried to play, and lost money along the way. Maybe thats the biggest key, admitting that I am a losing player and need some help. I dont think i am a very bad player, just very marginally losing. Ive had a few just wicked beats along the way (As everyone else has as well), and compounded with what i believe is poor play, the results are amplified.

Perhaps what im asking for here, is if there is anyone here, who out of the kindness of their heart would make an attempt to help me understand bankroll issues, the way to move up, and ultimately, a fresh perception on the game. I really am willing to learn, and im certainly not a begginner in the world of poker. I just need to get my game sorted out, or Im afraid that i just need to quit this, because i cant keep losing money at this game.

I was talking to a friend who came up with the statement that in "odds or even" the person who choose even is favored to Win. In Brazil some people play "2 or 1" and some play "odds or even" in which you pick a number from 0 to 5 using your hand. Basically he says that even is favored because the outcome ranges from 0 to 10, so its 6 possible results for even and 5 possible results for odds. I get that. But ia his statement true even if the outcome iis not entirely random? Part of the outcome is determined by each player so it's not random from a players point of view. Id agree with it if the outcomeis random tho.

I jumped into cryptocurrency research head first last week, trying to learn everything I could about Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ethereum Classic. Soon after I started moving down the list of highest market valued currencies and I came across Steem, currently the 4th highest market cap (just over 200 million USD) of cryptocurrencies: https://coinmarketcap.com/

Basically, Steemit is a forum like reddit, but upvoting content comes with monetary reward in the way of their cryptocurrency Steem. Many of us have been providing valuable advice online for years with little to no compensation, so I jumped at the idea of this. Its benefits are obvious, and you can probably guess the downsides: many people post low content drivel, there is rampant plagiarism, and silly narcissitic posts by popular people have outrageous payouts. For instance, a playboy model wrote an introductory blog which received over $10,000. Yes, you read that right. It's hard to have blogs blow up like that and have huge payouts, but there are a few blogs a day that pay in the mid 4 figures. There are also rewards for commenting and upvoting posts early that blow up into big threads. The whole process needs a bit of tweaking, but I love the concept.

I did an AMA over there a few days ago and the blog brought in nearly $200. The poker following is small there, and the forum is new, but in an age where billion dollar websites such as HuffingtonPost refuse to pay its writers, I believe strongly in a website and cryptocurrency that has monetary incentives for users providing great content.

So, I wrote a blog detailing my PCA win. It's geared towards casual and non poker fans reading it, so there isn't technical range breakdown or anything of that matter, but I'm inviting you guys to come in and participate and you all can ask me anything you want there about poker, DFS, or anything else and I'll try to get to everyone, and I'll be giving away bitcoins to a few LP users.

So here's what you need to do:
