Benchmark
  tae-g, Sep 10 2007

I finally passed the 1k mark, and with rakeback I'll be properly rolled for 50NL finally. No graphs/stats bec my PT hasn't been working with UB properly

Big thanks to Corwin for being a badass coach and making my progress possible.

Cheers LP

Cooler Ridden Sessions
  tae-g, Jul 20 2007

My last two sessions have started with my playing well being up a buyin or so, and then hitting cooler after suckout after cooler. My brain isn't working now, so I'm gonna take a few days off to lick my wounds. The last 3 days erased the last week and a half of progress towards 50NL. BLAHHHHHHHH

edit: NOW IM JUST ON LIFE TILT. I STARTED PLAYING DOTA TO COOL OFF I GOT FIRST BLOOD AND GOT DISCONNECTED FUCKKKKKK AHHHHHH

Good Day/Question for you guys
  tae-g, Jul 17 2007

I had a decent day today. Up 2 BI.

One spot where I'm not sure if I shoulda folded QQ pf:
I raised over pot from BB after a few limps, UTG shortstack calls behind, UTG+1 full stack 3bets to 17BB. I decide to call for set value thinking the shortie will call/push (essentially same thing based on his stack) and he pushes (like 3/4 BB more than the raise) and UTG+1 shoves. I feel like his limp reraise then shove has to be KK/AA so I fold, but I dunno if this is correct.

Obv I woulda flopped the set and turned quads...UTG tables A7 UTG+1 tables JJ I puke.

2nd question for you guys:
Don't you think the true test of someone's opinion on something is to ask them to put money on it? I love it when I get in a dispute with someone and they are so staunchly opposed to me until I ask them to put money on it, and they inevitably fold (excuse the pun).

Congrats to Khan on his 1Mil cash even though we all know he would've loved to win.

Cheers all

Thankful
  tae-g, Jul 07 2007

My blog today is dedicated to being thankful for running good. Good runs are very often taken for granted and a lot of retards like to chalk up there hot streaks to their own personal skill. I started out having a tough day today and ended up running well to finish in the green.

Thank you magical poker gods for allowing me to run well and profit today.

cheers

Not saying I played all these perfectly, but it was definitely a rough day.

It was a Good Day [green]($48.45)[/green]
  tae-g, Jun 06 2007

Coaching and such

Today (and the last few days) have been going great. Corwin has helped me A TON with my game, and has already fixed a ton of my leaks and opened my eyes to a lot of concepts I was missing. I've decreased my tables to 4, and have been trying focus really hard on each hand, and have been trying to pay more attention to detail.

Heres today's figures:

Not too many noteworthy hands. I found a few spots to shove for value and got insta-called which was nice. Hopefully I'll continue to run good and progress.

I'll leave you all with this...
