I had a right total ACL reconstruction on the 10th of this month and i've been in a lot of pain ever since. I'm also missing bone cartilage in parts of my right knee so they created microfractures in the bone to stimulate cartilage growth. The thing with the microfracture is that i cant apply any weight to the right leg for 6-8 weeks, so when i try to talk i have to use an imobolizer (special knee bace) on my right knee, and when i'm using my crutches i cannot let my right foot to ever touch the ground. So everywhere i go for about 6 weeks i have to use crutches. Long story short, today i had my 1st poker session in over a week which lasted for about 2 hours (baby steps, will try to go for 3 hours tomorrow). After 2 hours my knee started to get really warm, i guess because i was sitting in my computer chair and the right leg wasn't elevated, but tomorrow i plan to have some ice packs on hand. All i can say is i'm feeling much better each day and i keep seeing improvements in the range of motion of my knee. I still have to pee in a hand held urinal because i pee every 2 hours usually (even before the surgery, i just always pee a lot since i'm always drinking water) and putting on the knee emobilizer can be sometimes painful just for a bathroom trip and back. Anyways, wish me luck for a speedy recovery, take care everyone
Which do you prefer? And if you could be so kind stating why you prefer it, that would be awesome. From what I've been reading, people say they prefer Grey Goose, but in blind taste tests they seem to be picking Belvedere for smoothness and taste. Are people just convinced by marketing over taste, or does one actually taste better then the other? Let me know.
Tom and I wen't to the Canadian FanExo last week. Lots of fun. We got pics with Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Eliza Dushku (Doolhouse, True Lies), Tom Felton (evil kid from Harry potter/Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and Hayden Panettiere (cheerleader from heroes). Going again for sure next year, will probably dress up as well. When I saw taking my picture with Eliza Dushku, her gf/husband Rick Fox was there. I knew he still works for the Lakers so when they finished my photo shoot I said "Hey Rick, tell Fisher to stop flopping so much". He laughed. Pictures can be seen below. Enjoy.
Tom won some pickets for the executive suite (best suite in the Rogers Centre) for the latest UFC fight. Awesome night! The Polish Experiement Krzysztof Soszynski was at our suite for the whole 6 hours. Nicest guy in the world , I must of talked to him over an hour. There was 4 of us, Tom, myself, my gf and one of my good brown friends. Never been to a UFC fight, so it was amazing. Some pics below, enjoy
Tom, my future wife and i went to her friends thanksgiving dinner. Here's some pics of us there, so you know how we look currently. And below are pics of us when were 75 years old. Enjoy.
So i'm officialy finished school, i just got my last courses mark on my transcript so i have a bachelor of science in nursing. Yay for me. Still gatta write a Canadian board exam in October to be licensed but no more school. I dont hate school really, i just hate writing essays since i find them so useless and their worth %30 of my grade usually in most courses. Life is good!
My fiance and I wen't to a wedding yesturday, and they did a nice little dance right after the bride and groom walked down. My fiance was the one on the very left. My shitty camera work, oh well i tried my best with all the people in my way. Enjoy.
