So basically to summarize the list, its basically all the useless ftp clothing that no one in their right mind is going to be able wear beyond their bedroom doors. books for the learning impaired and all kinds of other useless crap with the only decent item being iPods and some kind of shitty cameras.
note: I actually brought a "velour FTP bathrobe" as well as an assortment of random items such as sunglasses, stress guy, ftp handheld fan so from first hand experience trust me none of it is worth the postage that they must be paying to ship this crap out to us.
So my initial idea of using the points and getting a Macbook for my sister is not possible, lame. I don't really understand the whole problem with being able to ship a macbook or even getting it delivered from a supplier here in Australia.
They do the latter (ship from suppliers here in Aus) for some of the ipods I've received in the past so I really can't see it being a huge step further to include the Macbook in that arrangement...
extra note: I DON'T like mac's, I happen to prefer pc's however my sister is female and likes how the macbooks look in their "pretty" enclosures and doesn't give a shit about functionality and the actual specs...
Anyway so the past couple of months I've spent genuinely giving University studies a decent attempt, and have a prop with karma and pushing4anal that I won't miss more than 10 hours of university this semester.
So far I've attended almost everything, I think the current tally is around 3-4 hours missed, every time I miss a lecture or a tute I msg luke and he'll count it up whenever.
Meh I don't think I'm going to be losing this bet, suckers and another plus side is my studies seem to be benefiting for the first time in a long while and really not at the loss of any sacrifice from myself except for getting up going to to uni and doing homework instead of browsing the forums/procrastinating.
But for some reason I'm up right now at 8.10am with Justeen sitting right next to me after we both finished playing sessions for a couple of hours that ended at 6am and I have a lecture sometime during the day...
life is good when my only worries currently are waking up in time to go to the lecture, bitching about getting items from the ftp store and deciding what to cook this weekend.
Yes, I've started cooking My first meal that I prepared a day after Mother's Day (kind of a late gift/deal that I would start cooking randomly when I feel like it) was pumpkin soup and spaghetti bolognese which was pretty good fun. Crying like a little girl while chopping the onions and having my parents laugh at me was hilarious and the end result was a pretty solid first attempt at cooking.
This weekend I'm juggling between roast lamb and potato mash or garlic prawns and some sort of rice dish?
Trying to stick with the simpler recipes for now and every time I cook something I chuck the recipe into a folder with notes, ie bolognese, evaporating the sauce note that it keeps evaporating even AFTER you take it off the heat...
So sleep beckons and I really need to be able to wake up in time for my lecture, so i'll leave it here for now.
I really need to make my blog posts more interesting, will try harder next time but for now my excuse is its 8am stfu

Before anyone thinks I'm attacking or mocking the Islam religion in particular I'd like to say that I'm laughing at religion in general.
I'd be interested to know how many people who believe in other religions found humor in those extracts because it seems slightly hypocritical since there isn't a religion that can legitimately say they're superior.
After reading this and laughing, I sobered up a little because some of my friends who I care about believe in a religion and they ARE intelligent individuals.

There wasn't really a point to this post, just wanted to vent.
So last month was pretty good, I don't think I posted a graph for it so I'll do that now:

So March was the first month I've ever played without thinking of withdrawing since I now get a student allowance from the government once a fortnight so overall a good month when I add in rakeback.
Then with high hopes and dreams for April I approached poker however it was not to be, Full Tilt soon let me know that their generosity had it's boundaries:

Anyway I think this is one of the few times that I've posted a terrible graph like this Not because I don't have losing months I just generally stay in denial until I find a good month that I can graph and post.
With the depressing constant losing of the first half of this month I've finally found something that I can claim to kind of "win" at.
The game is simple you jump by right clicking at the start and that's the only time you'll have to click, from then on you just have to jump on or hit the bells with the rabbit and keep him going higher and higher.
Anyway life is pretty mundane OBVIOUSLY since I'm posting about playing some ridiculously childish flash game, the other most "exciting" thing to happen this month has been going over my download limit of 50 gigs by 31 gigs on the last day.. yeah I'm a true rebel downloading dvd rips and a bunch of tv series.
Notable "good" movies watched include: Michael Clayton, No Country for Old men, Resurrecting the Champ, Walk hard Dewey Cox and 27 Dresses if only because I love Katherine Heigl:
Watched/Still watching: Sg-1 (up to season 6 now tis awesome), The office (US version) which took some time to grow on me but worth it, and Everybody loves Raymond.
About to watch: Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls (I know this is extremely queer even for me but I love the dialog that occurs in this show), My name is Earl and Two and a Half Men.
Boston Legal and Scrubs have both started churning out episodes again so I'll start watching them as they come out again, Yay!
If anyone has ideas for good movies or series's to watch let me know, but don't tell me if it's horror or anything scary since I refuse to watch those genres...

So its been ages since I've updated my blog, mostly because I've been lazy so anyway here goes..
During holidays went to Torquay again before going to Queensland with the same stooges as last time: Justeen (pushing4anal), Luke (karma), Jonno (pokerdoc) and this time Justeen had an American friend there as well name was Christa however spelling may be off.
Had an awesome time even though it was kind of sad when Christa had to leave; she lives in Michigan or something?
Which basically means its very likely we'd never see her again and I think Justeen died a little on the inside, pussy.
I wanted to post pics but Christa took all of them and I think to get them I'll have to create a facebook account ..
Also, Justeen and Luke made a bet which basically involves Justeen not being able to shave, trim or do anything to his facial hair until 2009 giving Justeen 4-1 on 1.3k so its 5.2k to Justeen if he ACTUALLY goes through with this. (He's asian so keep in mind its not going to get to a DECENT bear but stay as ratty and patchy looking as possible).
At the time of the bet it was kind of bummy looking but now its basically pubic hair on face and it'll only going to get worse, its hilariously awesome and I must get a photo of it soon to post.
Anyway, university has started and I'm trying once again to approach it with great gusto and attempt to NOT fail once again while at the same time make enough money to head up Switzerland in July.
Reason for wanting to go to Switzerland is that my sister is up there on an exchange program for a year and I think this would be a good chance to visit her as well as have her take me around to places since she'll know decent French by the time this is over.

Also I've been watching a bunch of movies that I've downloaded recently (my opinions are pretty much worthless but I'm going to share anyway because I LIKE to share) so I'd suggest scrolling past this bit:
Juno - because I wanted to watch it again since its so awesome and Ellen Page has taken over my obsession with Emma Watson.
Ghost Rider - which was better than what I had expected however the casting of Eva Mendez with Cage seemed like it REALLY didn't work...
I mean she's hot and all but the match up
TMNT - was pretty good considering its been SO long since I've seen the cartoon.
The Holiay which I loved but that's probably because I'm a HUGE sucker for romantic comedy shit but even then JACK BLACK WTF? Why is Jack Black in a ROMANCE movie of ANY kind????? I mean I like Jack Black but seriously this guy shouldn't be doing romance....
I mean i also watched Tenacious D and I liked his music before I saw the movie and I think he's DEF cool but wtf at whoever casted him.
Rush hour 3 - Don't watch it, go sit on a fucking toilet for the 2 hours and just stare at the floor. This movie sucks so hard that it was ALMOST entertaining watching and seeing how much more it could fail. It just randomly shat all over your mind with attempts to put the characters into situation where they could spew their "hilarious" lines.
Dan in Real Life - Very interesting movie to watch with Steve Carell and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Little Miss Sunshine - Another movie with Steve Carell in it, loved it and think you'd have to be a heartless asshole to dislike the little girl in the movie. And the ending is hilarious as all hell.
Superbad - Nothing needs to be said.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium - Kind of wierd, had some entertaining moments and I like kids movies and stuff so it was okay.
Alvin and the Chipmunks - Jesus, the voices of the chipmunks irritated the hell out of me. Initially I was like oh okay they're cute chipmunks with 'cute' voices right? But after an hour of listening to it and their fricking singing it just pissed me off
The Warlords - Jet Li movie with Andy Lau, thought it was pretty damn good would recommend anyone who doesn't speak mandarin to find good subtitles though.
War/ Rogue Assassin - Another Jet Li movie, not as awesome as warlords but still decent to watch when you're bored.
Beowulf- I didn't know anything about the history/fables so watched it completely unaware of what the storyline should be, thought it was pretty decent for an animated film and hell it has Angelina Jolie (animated cgi though..) in it so watch it.
The Seeker - lame, I assume the book is a lot better and I'm going to try find the text because the movie just sucked on so many different fronts.
And by far the most fun bunch of movies to watch was the Oceans trilogy.

Poker related: I played a 2.5k hand session before I went out to meet up with friends on New Years Eve because I felt guilty that I hadn't put in enough hands this month (not my fault, just so much events and my general inability to find motivation...okay so my fault).
Anyway did alright and I thought I'd post up my December graph, nothing special and definitely need to play more hands this year.
I seriously need to get more motivation in general, won't bother making a New years resolution in regards to it since its bound to fail...
So instead I'll probably make multiple bets with friends in an attempt to force me to do SOMETHING but will probably ultimately result in me failing AND owing them all money.

Firstly Merry Xmas everyone and hope everyone got at least something they wanted or liked, I realised on Xmas Eve that it was Christmas the next day and not the day after that. Clever me!
I know I suck so before anyone else states the obvious I'll save you the trouble:
And to those lucky enough to live in areas where shops are always open, well unfortunately 24 hour shopping was the day before Christmas Eve and I missed that leaving me with Christmas Eve and my realisation at 5pm that shops were closing at 6 and like no presents.
Solution? A clever individual by the screen name "Suicide" saved my ass with a reply to my sorrowful situation and for the next hour or so I managed to send off a bunch of Amazon gift vouchers and for $100 a piece well worth it.
Alright enough of my failures at trying to be a normal organised and partially functional human being and onto my attempt to play more poker and my failure once again to do so
So didn't end up playing a whole lot of poker but hey I have spent a lot of time sleeping, eatingm hanging with friends, eating, eating, sleeping and all up just plain enjoying life. Although the flip side of that is maybe I'm not the healthiest person around....
Annnnywayyy 2008 is just around the corner and since this is a poker forum I assume everyone has their new year resolutions in regards to poker so share them.
Mine are pretty simple: Play more, try harder and just try to stay motivated and the later two aren't restricted to just poker. I really do have to start trying harder in university and not treat it like a joke (which at times it may be, but I'm PAYING for this joke so I may as well fricking do well).

At the moment I have him blocked deleted, any ideas for a reverse scam attempt/ getting him to do retarded things in the hope of a successful scam?
A friend suggested "make him take photos of his penis" but that strikes me as retarded and self-owning and I now have increasing doubts about my friends sexual orientation/ sense of humor.

Guess I'm extremely bored and November sucks ass so poker isn't taking up that much time since I'm taking a short break from it. Short meaning I should start playing again within the week.
Also I can basically beat most of hard on Guitar hero 3, short of the last 4 songs which are just gay and I'm not sure I'm willing to practice each section of each song for 30 minutes each. So I'm just going to buy Assassins Creed and start playing that, or keep playing Dead Rising which I only started playing a few days ago.
Interestingly enough killing zombies constantly while playing a game with a story line that is pretty much that of a horror movie isn't all that scary. The game pretty much consists of "Frank" some journalist finding out whats happening and standard scene:

Hell I watched the Sixth Sense and was so scared I had to cover my eyes and block my ears, manly no doubt right?
Oh, went to a friends Christmas dinner/Christian masquerade dinner thingy.
As bad as that might sound (yeah I'm an atheist/non-believer), it actually turned out to not be what I'd assumed initially and my friends and I had a good time.
Afterwards we somehow ended up at an African club/bar with huge amounts of err... booty is probably the nicest way to describe it and the average age was at least 7 years older than us.

This is an interesting video that my sister showed to me and I was thinking how many people reading this would press the black button?
A scary idea was this process meant if one person didn't press the black button the whole thing would stop and obviously the whole twilight zone approach might have been a give away but I thought it was very good short film.
As I was watching it I was saying I would definitely press the black button up until the "assistant" started trying to make his speech about how accidents always occur.
For some reason it made me think of Jamie Golds table talk, but thats besides the point.

Side question, how fat would you have to be until you genuinely attempt to lose weight/get healthy?
Never thought it'd actually happen to me but it has, I find I can lie in bed for hours without getting to sleep and this obviously results in me being in a zombie like state for the next day.
This results in me being unable to even try to improve at guitar hero 3 which i recently brought let alone attempt poker sessions.

Pretty gay, but i found it kind of amusing until I realised I was looking at guys wearing nothing but underwear.
Oh and I watched South Parks new episode about Guitar Hero below is a bit which I found hilarious:

I had a whole lengthy post written in response to it but I think most appropriate response is:

Anyway I think I'll leave it at that and go and play some more guitar hero.

My first meal that I prepared a day after Mother's Day (kind of a late gift/deal that I would start cooking randomly when I feel like it) was pumpkin soup and spaghetti bolognese which was pretty good fun. Crying like a little girl while chopping the onions and having my parents laugh at me was hilarious and the end result was a pretty solid first attempt at cooking.
Not because I don't have losing months I just generally stay in denial until I find a good month that I can graph and post.
(He's asian so keep in mind its not going to get to a DECENT bear but stay as ratty and patchy looking as possible).
and it'll only going to get worse, its hilariously awesome and I must get a photo of it soon to post.
