After a long time off from coaching I have decided to start up again due to the fact that I wont be going to Vegas this summer so I will have a lot more free time to do some coaching. Ive been playing online successfully for 4 or 5 years now and have beaten up to 10/20 at one point.
My main games over the last few years have been 600 and 1knl with some dabbling into PLO (unsuccessfully ). I will be coaching anywhere from 50nl to 200nl because I feel like I can improve low stakes grinders games and push them into midstakes, an area I very familiar with, and help them
to succeed there.

To the No-Limit Hold Em variant of poker. Omaha is a ton of fun and all but jesus it makes my head spin and the longterm variance is pretty ridiculous. Seeing as I have been down swinging for about a year now I guess I gotta go back to what I know best and start making some cash money again. Also a huge factor was the state of Stars 6max games right now seem better than theyve been in a long time. Looking at my lifetime PLO graph is pretty hilarious and fairly tilting at how much Ive put into learning the game... Might as well post for some laughs

So easy to blame it on the PLO variance but I am clearly miles away from being a proven winner.. although I will most likely always play it to some extent when dealing with the crunch of paying for school and maintaining the cost of a house and gf (sometimes I dont know which costs more ) I feel like it is in my best interests to return to the game I know I can beat longterm.
So starting yesterday I dove back into the nit infested games of 1/2nl on stars and found them definitely to be better than normal.. A lot more fish per table and whatnot. After spewing off in the first hour or so I started playing slightly better but still rusty for sure. It will take a little time to get readjusted but hopefully shouldn't take too long
Not exactly what I had in mind when I started back but Im sure the NL gods of the pokerworld will be kinder in the future. Ive been playing a fair amount of live at Fallsview in Niagara Falls recently as well which has been actually fun somehow...And I am going to be headed to NAPT Mohegan Sun in early April so if anyone is headed there as well lemme know!

Friend of mine just sent me a variance simulator of my hands with my std deviation if I had a wr of 2bb/100 so ridiculous.
Decided to become a fulltime PLO reg after NL started stagnating and becoming boring lately. Been working pretty hard on the PLO game and having a lot more fun even though its swingy as hell.
Heres today lol, +15 buyins at a limit and still barely made any money
Gotta get about 75k more VPPs on the year to get about $7500 in bonus so Ill be grinding hard the rest of november for sure and hopefully take sometime off in Decemeber
easily my worst month ever by far, before this my worst month was like -3k, I definitely did not play well and all my shots went poorly as did plo. April I will probably just look to 6 table 3/6 for most of the month and try and get back to winning ways lol.
Im also going to NAPT Mohegan Sun in a couple days so hopefully I can just win that
It's finally gotten warm here in Southern Ontario which means golf season is back! I just played my first 18 yesterday and I'll probably go again this afternoon, feels so nice to get back out on the course.
I also finalized our Vegas house for WSOP, staying in a 10k sq foot 10bdrm Vacation Kingdom should be really sweet. Should have a good group of guys too, Myself, Dzoo, Adam001, Nutsinho, Kingsofcards, Altrum Altus, Jem87, Victree, Gregy20273 and Luckyfish... heres some pictures of the house.
Like I said last blog Dzoo and I are heading down to New Orleans tomorrow to check out the NFC Championship... Pretty pumped to go into the Superdome down there and see Brett Favre get demolished

Havent been grinding that hard this month yet with PCA and school starting up but Ive been trying to take more 10/20 shots when there are enough games on Stars/FTP and today the games werent great but I figured Id go at er anyway
