I'm really quitting the game this time. I have to get into grad school, finish additional levels in my CFA exams, and spend more time with the people I love in RL. After repeated failures, I figured that the best way to quit was to give away my paid account for free to someone on LP.

I have 2 conditions:

1. I'd like to give it away to someone who's not completely new to HoN/DoTA, because this game has an insane learning curve and some of you may become too disgusted to continue playing.
2. I don't want to give it away to someone who's completely random to me.

Additionally, I don't mind giving away this account to someone who's already playing HoN because I've immensely enjoyed playing with all of you from LP, and I think a lot of you wouldn't mind having a second account to screw around with.

There's a name change option that I've purchased with in-game coins, so you can change the account name to whatever you desire once you've won the account from me.

Leave a comment in this blog and I'll pick out the names I recognize, assign numbers to your name and do a random roll during a final log-in to the HoN client for the winner, to whom I will PM the account information.

i've been away from online poker for the past 8 months because hon/cfa studies/managing the family store/hon/hon kept me from playing actively

i did go back to the tables at my local casino the past few weeks and i've done really well (10k first 2 weeks at 1/2 which is rly sick then down 3k ish at 2/5 lol)

i'm thinking about getting back to the online tables prob start out at 100nl and move my way back up

i have a cfa exam this saturday so wish me luck

ok i played this game for about a week straight with rare breaks in between. i have no exp whatsoever with dota so i started out with no stats games and then played some official games, randomed a hero every time to get a feel for the game, read the guides, watched games from honcast and basically... i'm sick and tired of feeding, failing, and having no clue whatsoever in general lol.

would anybody be willing to be my buddy and help a fellow lper get started properly? it's such a shame asking for this because i noticed an inordinate amount of hatred toward new players in this game. so much so that i myself have a ridiculously hard time not bashing on someone who seems worse than i am. but i mean.. lpers stick together, right?

playing drunk is really hurting my progress.

it's so obv that proper brm is super super important, but even as i'm cognizant of that simple truth, the lack of properly using the skill continues to be my biggest leak.

also, having gambled a lot on a lot of different bets in my drunken spree, i've come to realize that losing a certain amount on a bet causes a level of agony that FAR surpasses the level of pleasure in winning that exact amount.

so yeah... since losing big hurts way more than what winning big could ever give you in terms of satisfaction, brm is life +ev.

fuck. i gotta grind live again.
