So before we begin, an update... I have finally turned 21. This means I can legally buy alcohol and play live poker at regular non-indian reservation casinos. Goodbye horse tracks and hello vegas. I actually don't like live poker as much as playing online, but I will have to go to Vegas or Atlantic City sometime just because, well... I can now! lol
Poker-wise, I suffered from the cashout curse, and lost 8 buy-ins in a week. Completely standard ways (sets under sets, AA vs KK, AK on AKK vs AA etc... This caused me to play a little less aggressive because I knew that I was going to be beat. Then yesterday during my session I was had this feeling of wtf i'm so passive, and I started being aggressive again and started smashing the tables. So hopefully I'm going to get back on track and make some more money!
So thats the poker update, with the cashout I bought a new queen size bed. I have been sleeping on a twin size bed for my entire life, and sprawled out on my bed feels absolutely amazing! (and now it's a lot more comfortable when sleeping with someone, or fooling around with someone). That and it's officially the first thing I have bought with online poker winnings which is really cool.
Anyways enough with the boring stuff. Let's talk about auditory orgasmic music!
So I have been a member of LiquidPoker for some time now. I have been break evenish for the past 3 years hovering from NL10 to NL25 for a long time. Just never really able to get anything going.
Back in September my bankroll was at an all-time low since I first started playing. My bankroll was at $85. Yea that's right. I was only rolled for NL2.
So I decided to give poker one last shot. If it didn't work then I was going to quit. But things started going well. I ended up money last year.
So far this month I made $500 (20 buy-ins at 25NL) and I'm taking shots at 50NL.
I also made a little more than $1,300 in stakes. yay run good!
Total for the start of 2011? $2,029.30
Since September
I have switched from 6-max to Full Ring which has helped me become a winner by a huge margin. IDK why that is, but that's how it is.
I am now rolled for NL50 and finally winning here.
Here is 2011 so far.
I have decided to cash out for the very first time leaving me enough of a cushioned roll for NL50 and I hope to buy something nice, like maybe a new bed or something.
I have another Ambient Music Blog coming so keep your eye out for that (should be out in about a week).
Hey everyone, so I need $30 on paypal to purchase access to a VPN. If anyone is willing to help I'd be happy!
I can ship on fulltilt.
I've done many transfers with people from here including: Fox, TommeRD, K4ir0s, 2Vi3T_B0Y4, chris, Steal City, voodoouser, lachlan, collegesucks, and srojitas.
Then I have a few transfers from 2+2. pm me if you can help!
The long and awaited ambient music #8 has arrived. If you don't enjoy it, then fuck you because this is my blog (not meaning to be rude. Anyways here we go!!!
So here I am, laying in a bed at the hotel in the Turning Stone Casino. I'm up $1,000 at NL200 the past 4 days here (leaving Saturday). I won a $350 raffle drawing for some tournament they're having in August which I'll prob. go to and bust early cause I suck.
But I feel depressed. I was sitting outside by the fountains for anyone who's been here, and just wondering why I feel like shit.
I mean, I'm up $1,000 in 4 days which compared to my previous state is really good. I am moving out of home soon, I have a lot of amazing friends who are going so many places, but I am still unhappy. I feel as if I haven't done anything worth while with my life, and I don't feel as if I ever will. Maybe I should talk to a psychologist.
So a friend of mine posted a band on my facebook page which really brightened my mood for the time being. I have to admit I have strayed away from post rock / ambient music almost entirely the past few months and I have been sucked into Alternative Rock for whatever reason. But this song he posted (first in the list) really made me realize why I love this type of music.
This was the first hand I stacked off in on PLO and won!

So I made a promise to myself to take things seriously in poker. No more mass grinding. I want to be a good poker player, and playing 16 tables is not cutting it. I'm playing 4 - 6 tables (average of 5). I want to be agressive with my bakroll and get up to $3.5k minimum by June 1st through online / live play. Right now I'm overing a little over $300 on my stars account and a little under $100 on my FullTilt Account.
So here's an update since I made this promise.
*Re-subscribed to DeucesCracked
*Watching Busto to Robusto NL
*Watched the Hudless videos
*Bought the Poker-Blue Book
Overall, I can tell my skill has gone way up in the past few days by playing at most 6 tables. However, I'm currently running bad right now. all the 2 outers all-in preflop has happened, so in and so forth. But this isn't affecting my play at all. I don't go overboard and tilt my money away. I move on, and I'm find and content because I know I got my money in good. I'm really only worried about my EV, being results oriented isn't good. Of course if I have a good day I'll ship some money on some nice food or whatnot (fuck the dollar menu, give me a big mac!)
Here is the graph since March 4th when I want to take it seriously.
then I also got $20 in Stellar Rewards so $102.45 so far.
Goal: $3,500
Week 1: $102.45
Left: $3,397.55
Here's one Ambient Band for those who are interested:
I need to get poker on track, hoping to make $2500 online in the next 3 months, and another 2-3k at the casino when i go in May (should be easy, somehow i stomp live play but suck online LOL, i think its because live i concentrate a lot more)
So if I make this goal (minimum of 3.5k profit before June) then I will go on a nice vacation somewhere (most likely Thailand).
So I am writing this to take poker seriously. no more 16 tabling and breaking even. I redid my subscription to DeucesCracked and I'm going to be watching a lot of vids and get myself back up to 50 NL by end of March and 100NL by end of April.
