New GF new Site!
  Masaki, Apr 22 2010

Life has been good, didn't play for like two months though been working on my new site that I just launched. I redirect http://tooyoungtogamble.com to http://greedygamble.com. Love my new gf she's amazing and posed for my new website :D.

Its good to have Adam and AJ back playing because exams are over. Its been getting pretty lonely just me playing. We’re planning to do a Greedy Gamble “Lock Down” where we’re not allowed to leave the house for a week. We’re probably going to do this sometime in June/July.

In poker, I’m still waiting for another big scores. Some small ones here and there but nothing too big. Today I final table bubbled the $109 6-max on FTP. Lost ATs vs A9o. Oh well! That’s Poker!

Yes, I finally received my triple crown on www.pocketfives.com and yes its beautiful. Though, I feel kinda pathetic winning it in small events, oh well still counts suckers!

I’m excited to keep playing poker as much as I can. Its a challenge to myself to see how much I can make this year if I can make the $100k again. I have a feeling I just had a really good year and this year it won’t be so great, but I’m trying to stay positive. So far this month things haven’t been going my way, but we’ll see I’m a very patient man.

Things that are coming up in my life, I’m finally getting my Mini 2nd week of May, and I’m going to Cuba third week of May, with my girl friend, and Speedybanana and his girl friend. Should be a great time! It’ll be nice to relax in the warm sun after playing poker for a month straight.

First Day Back and Advice From Subiime!
  Masaki, Oct 18 2009

First day back since not playing for probably a month. Did extremely well, I made at least 5 Final tables. Won one small $11 rebuy on Cake Poker, placed 3rd in a $5 rebuy on Fulltilt Poker, 3rd in another small $11 rebuy on Ipoker, a 7th in a $109 freezeout Ipoker and an 8th in a $15 Deepstack tournament on Absolute Poker.

Came very close to winning a Triple crown for Pocketfives.com. If you don't know what that is its when you win three tournaments on three different websites that have at least a $10k prize pool. If I won the $11rebuy on Ipoker and the $5 rebuy on Fulltilt I would of got the triple crown... Oh well.. Someday soon I hope .

In other news I had a conversation with Subiime, a very good online poker player, ranked 46th in the world right now on pocketfives for online multitable tournament players, he told me that he has cut back on the volume of tournaments he plays and just plays like 4 tables at a time where as before he was doing 20+.

I'm going to take his advice kinda... I'm going to drop all of the $33 dollar tournaments I play Party Poker, and play some of their rebuys instead. I'm also only going to play $55 buy-in+ and $3rebuys+... Maybe even drop some of the rebuys. I love rebuy tournaments, even the $3rebuys I love on stars. You can get close to $10k for first place but there probably not worth taking up my time playing. I'm going to drop some other tournaments on Ipoker that just don't bring in a large enough field.

As soon as Bodog allows Canadians to use moneybookers I'll be playing on that site as well, so my hands are going to be full. I really like Subiimes advice about cutting the volume down though. Definitely, going to do it... maybe I'll drop those $3rebuys. Maybe..

If I was a machine I'd be playing all the tournaments even the $2 dollar ones Shaun Deeb style, but I haven't been able to keep up. Once I get to 15 tables+ I'm stressing out and thats not good. I'm very comfortable with 12-15 tables, 15 is a stretch though.

Two Months Two Million has ended NOOOO!!!!! I mean it was a fun show to watch but as for Poker education there isn't much to learn from other than you should still have fun with your friends, and understanding the swings of the game. The one thing I didn't like is that they were very emotional and tiltish. At least Krantz was, and for professionals thats a little surprising. Oh well...

Check it out at http://pokertube.com if you haven't already.

Anyways, its my buddy Eric's B-day party tomorrow so I won't be playing but hopefully I will be Saturday. Cheers everyone

Starting Again in Oct.
  Masaki, Sep 30 2009

Hello hello,

Like I said before I'm taking the rest of the month off. A lot of stress running at home with this women staying with us from Japan and its stressing my mother out which stresses me out. Also, been having some lady problems that I'm not going to get into detail with because well they read this blog so yeah.

Other then that life is pretty good. I don't think I've lost any fat or barely any fat since doing the p90x and I've been doing it for 3 weeks now. Though I haven't been doing it consistent everyday, and camping did interrupt it so that doesn't help.

I've decided to switch from the Classic P90x to the Lean edition which I should of done since the beginning because it focuses more on loading body fat. Wish me luck!

I came across this interview today, where pokertube.com was talking to Daniel Negreanu. Here it is if you haven't seen it.

http://pokertube.com/Movies.aspx?movie=11721

I do agree on a lot of things Daniel says about religion, he almost has my exact same views, and it was interesting him speak about the WSOPE and Canadians me being a Canadian I can relate.

I know some people hate Daniel Negreanu, but I've never had anything against him. He seems like a genuine good guy.
