ETC Entry

Hey boys (and potential women?) I'm bored. Poker is mediocre at best. But I've been having more fun (and making more money) with crypto this year.

Figured I'd start a blog posting some entries for fun (and free). So I can look back and see how they ended up. First entry is ETC (Ethereum Classic).

I just had the worst night ever. Literally the fucking worst. I have 9 or so grams of shrooms and I just took them all about 10 minutes ago. Somewhat regret. But we'll see what happens. Maybe this'll be an opportunity to figure some shit out. Wish me luck LP.

Best hangover cures?

So after the Seahawks blew it last night, it was time to drink heavily. Have a decently bad hangover this morning. Obviously eating helps along with some water. Gatorade has done nicely in the past. What have you guys found most helpful to tackle a bad hangover?

Worst Day, Rant (sort of)

So I need to vent. Go from having a 13 buy in day, to dropping 18 buy ins in less then 36 hours. Didn't even think it was possible to lose this much in such a short period of time. Ran like complete shit, tilted off a couple buy ins as well. Fuck I didn't even play that bad I just couldn't hold, couldn't get there with draws. Every fucking hand was a cooler. Bleh.

This is super last minute, but if I could get backed for the Red Spade Open in like an hour. That'd be cool. Never really been backed or staked before. No markup or anything (not sure if markup is applicable when seeking a full stake?)

Improving my shortstack/turbo SNG play

So I play the $1, and .50c 90 player turbo's on stars. My shortstack play has come a long way, but there's obviously a lot of improvement that can happen. I've fooled around with ICM calculator on PT4, and looked at some Nash equilibrium charts and what not. Both have helped.

Does anyone have any tips or anything? Any guides or resources on improving shorstack/turbo sng play would be gre...

SNG/MTT Bankroll Management

So I've built my roll playing micro stakes cash to $200. I've always enjoyed tournament/sng play more then cash, but I think cash (at least for me) has helped me learn the basics of poker better then tournaments/sng's would have.

Anyway, so I really feel ready and want to transition to mttsng's and some mtt's. What kind of brm should I use for these games? I was thinking 100 buy ins mini...

5NL 3betting

So I moved up to 5NL today. I noticed that people 3bet a lot more, at least in zoom. I'm still stuck in the 2NL mentality of only 3betting AK, TT + because there's no point in 3betting weaker hands as nobody folds. Like I said, people seem to 3bet more, and also seem somewhat capable of making folds when they are 3bet.

What's a general, good 3betting range to use at Zoom 5NL? Also I assume l...

So this past week I've been 4 tabling Zoom 2NL. Is it just me or is everyone who plays zoom either the biggest fish/calling station or the biggest nit. I'm 18bb/100 over 15k hands this week... It either feels like I can cbet these guys to death and steal the blinds, or they call me down with 2nd pair or tptk on a drawy board every time. Do people just nit up because it's so easy to fold and wai...

Tips for micro stakes HU sng's

So I've been playing the $1.50 hyper hu sng's on stars recently. Been making steadily making a small profit over about 30 of them. I'm just wondering if anyone could give me some tips and advice for playing the micro stakes hyper hu sng's. Also I think the rake is kind of high? So I should be looking to move up asap no?

FTP Pre Black Friday

So I recently finished my deposit bonus on Pokerstars, so I transfered my bankroll to FTP to get a bonus there. I play 5NL, and have noticed FTP doesn't have that big of a player base right now, but did before Black Friday from what I hear. For example at peak times there's maybe 15-20 tables going at 6max 5NL and on average maybe 8-10. I was just wondering what the traffic was like pre Black F...

Biggest score

Just won a 1$ 45 player sit n go. First prize was $12.73. It is my biggest score in a tournament to date. My previous biggest cash was 1st in the .25c 45 player for like $3.23 or something like that. $12.73 is nothing to the majority of you, but it's 1/4 of my bankroll so it means a lot to me and I just wanted to share. Maybe someone is interested.
