<title>Swingy session + insomnia</title>
        <link>http://tianyuan.liquidpoker.net</link>
<description>So I finally feel confident enough in my PLO game to mix it up and do 4 tables NLHE 2 tables PLO, had my first such session today and it went alright. Started out down 2k but made a come back and when I stopped playing at midnight and fired up my PT stat windows I noticed I was only down 200 - very nice.

Starting out playing HU on 2 tables (PLO one, nlhe one) and 6 max on another two (well, waiting lists anyway), got kinda crushed in the PLO HU ^_^ Didn't run great and might not have played great either, not sure.

I played &gt;waaaay&lt; too loose initially, probably an effect of playing so much PLO for the past 2 months. I had great difficulties keeping my VPIPs below the 40s initially (like 40/30, 36/30). Think I was leaking a reasonable amount of chips playing this way hehe.

Omaha hands
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505408 - Biggest pot I won, 3 barrel bluff when quite deep.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505406 - It seems really weird for him to pot a jack here, I considered moving in but ended up wussing out.. (if he doesn't have a jack I'd put him on some kind of pair that called for 2 pair and is now bluffing)

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505405 - Pretty standard.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505404 - Might be standard?

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505403 - Here I'm trying to bluff him off the 3rd nuts.. I dunno if it's brilliant but he did time all the way down... :P At least he didn't snapcall or I'd have been tilted! Btw I really did think he was quite likely to have a boat (maaaybe a straight) because of a previous hand where he made the same halfpot bets with middle set IIRC.

Hold'em hands:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505400 - First time I see him, I haven't played on ipoker in a couple of months, but he was quite aggressive with 3bets from the blinds, and seemed reasonable (he had like 24/21ish stats over the small sample I had on him iirc). He'd 3bet a couple of times and I 4bet him the 3rd time I think (with a bluff), which worked. Do you like a raise/call on this flop or a call/call (and probably call again?)?
I'm unsure how many pair+draws he'll have in his range.. Vs his specific hand I could have obviously gotten the money in but I'm not sure he'd call with hands like 87s or if he'd 3bet those.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505399 - Too much omaha for me? He snap-potted turn then hesitated a while on the river.. I think I missed a pretty easy valueraise here (although if he reshoved on me I'd be really fucked?).

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505397 - It doesn't make sense for him to have hit this flop with much, I think AQ 3bets, 9s MIGHT 3bet, AA and QQ certainly does 3bet and I block A9 and 99 anyway. So he probably has a draw.. I guess he can have like AT type hands too? Call flop/raise turn good? On the river maybe I'm missing a valuebet again, I sort of just wanted to see what he had. Actually, once he checks, I'm probably always good and should bet.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505396 - Another hand where I really think I've played too much omaha.. I'd expect a ten to raise me on the flop quite a lot, so I was sort of worried he'd have like an underfull. I didn't bet turn because, eh, I felt like I should be tricky since I'm not really gonna be double barreling here a ton. But then I realized I can't very well check/raise here if I expect him to raise most tens on the flop.. So I settled for call/then on the river I dunno, like every midpair he could have been calling me with has a boat now. Bet bet bet probably better..

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505395 - villain is like 65/1, maybe I'm supposed to barrel turn here.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505393 - Wee.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505391 - Eh I really didn't expect him to show up with this hand.. He's quite fishy but had such a high fold % and low WTSD that I was briefly considering if I should be checking, but you know, I have TPTK..

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505387 - one time! Straight flushes are pretty good.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505384 - Both villains in this hand are extremely fishy~ I think I played it alright.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505386 - Huge trainwreck of a hand, I was timing out due to having a difficult decision on another table so just hit the pot button. Same super tight/passive (19/5) villain from the above hand calls me.. I dunno, I hate that ace a lot =[ Not sure I like my turn bet if I check flop, maybe I should just check again.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505381 - Blah, I thought he was the minraiser so I put lots of overpairs in his range. Not sure I like this stackoff now..

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505379 - Snapcalled before I noticed he overbet shoved. I might have called anyway, although I think he was trying to get me to call when he did these overbets.. Meh. Losing with trips to top boat for a buyin isn't too bad at least.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505378 - Maybe this is too fancy, this is like my 2nd hand at the table.. IIRC I thought this guy was a reg (probably saw him on a bunch of tables) and thus I don't think he has AK very often. When he calls flop and checks back turn I put him on like 99-JJ so I shove river to try to get him to call those hands.
Terribad sans history?

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505377 - Bleh? =]

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/505376 - NFD vs OESD+FD, stnd straight on the river.

Kinda missed a loooot of valuebets today (in the hold'em, I think I played very well in the Omaha 6 max games) but I'm happy that I didn't really tilt much and getting back to even was nice. I've been sleeping like shit lately, going to bed at like
1 am, falling asleep at 6 am, waking up at 6 pm.. Trying to stay up to turn the clock around but falling asleep cause I've been sleeping so poorly that I'm just too tired. Vicious circle really.

        <title>Day 9</title>
        <link>http://tianyuan.liquidpoker.net</link>
        <description>

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501633 - Standard? He was like, 70/20/3, pretty loose.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501663 - lol this wasn't really planned (ie it wasn't like &quot;I'm gonna bet small to induce&quot; it was &quot;I'm gonna bet small to get him to call with his 3rd pair&quot;), but I'm obviously snapcalling after making such a small bet.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501617 - grosssssssssss..... I think I have to bet turn tho?

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501611 - Bleh, I thought he was completely FOS here, last time he flopped top set he donked out pot then checked a boat turn.. Meh.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501607 - Sort of obvious but he had played like 12 hands straight since joining the table..

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501586 - Meh. 50/20ish guy but not seen him before and first reraise.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501589 - Nit-rage-I'm-not-folding mode engaged.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501596 - Owned take 3 :P

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501582 - Sorry~_~

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501599 - I guess I'm an idiot, Babygrand!

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501588 - Nice flop! Although I didn't realize I had 2 pair here, I might not have shoved then.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501657 - When I first saw his hand I missed the 9 and was wondering WTF he was doing with a bare top pair no kicker.

Ran good today, I'm green for PLO 1/2 now =]

It would probably be less ugly looking if I played better :)

In other news I'm starting to get the old wanderlust again. That is, shopping around for new pokersites to play! Playing on stars is fun, but longterm it's stupid, paying taxes when you don't have to just because you like the software is, well, dumb.

So it needs to be european:

        <title>Day 8</title>

Almost even on 1/2 now, just another buyin and a half.. :) I think I played good most of the time today, was slightly tilted for a while but regrouped fairly quickly.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501006 - I REALLY thought he had quads heh, but with the odds I figured oh well, maybe he has QQ/KK enough of the time..

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501008 - I know a few days back I had some silly hand where I shoved a trashy flushdraw on a paired board in a 3bet pot for 100bb (and got it in drawing almost dead to AA with a flushdraw), but in this case I SHOULD shove right?

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501017 - I regret betting here, I had won the last two pots and I remember from an earlier session that he check/raised me the 3rd (or so) time I had raised his limp/raised in general.. I feel like if I cbet here, with how much I felt like he was itching to c/r, I shouldn't be folding.. Which might be pretty spewy so a check behind is probably best.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501018 - I'm very happy with this hand~

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501021 - I'm not sure if these types of bluffs are great, but it worked this time at least.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501024 - Hmm, maybe I should bet turn again, 45 probably doesn't raise me, and for him to call on the flop and now have the high end of the straight he'd have to have 89T* and I have two 8s so that's fairly unlikely, I guess he could have 9T** with clubs too.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501030 - Yuck. Bet/fold turn &gt; c/c? He's 13/8/1.8

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501034 - Standard or should I call because his shove range should include more draws than Ax hands? Is KK44 double paired/single suited an alright 3bet or do I really need them to be double suited? Fwiw, TheAndOn was a very loose aggressive player.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501041 - I hate folding here, I see visions of him turning QJ into a bluff before my eyes.. I considered c/ring river briefly to fold out KT (or 9T if he'd bet that..he sort of instapotted it). But he can have AT himself so meh.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501043 - Should I bet turn you think? Am I being too scared of the nutflush when I have the 2nd nuts? With this many people in, do you think this board is better to c/r (since it's quite an action board)?

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501044 - Felt good to do this after the last hand :P I'm not sure I should be potting in these spots, in hold'em I would probably jam here a lot (since nobody folds a boat or trips ever here) but do you think I I'll actually fold out some low boats here?

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501046 - Bluuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh? Fold flop? It's like, a super small raise I feel dirty folding with that many outs :( On the turn I have like a bazillion million different outs (something like 40% equity vs the nuts).. Meh.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501054 - Same guy as above.. now he c/raises me pot. Get it in or call? I have 17 outs but I suppose I'm kinda cooked vs 6789 or 5678.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501062 - Same guy as above, this whale just owned me every hand. I was a bit tilted at the time, I think my turn bet is *really* terrible in retrospect, I don't really get a call from worse. I'm unsure about the river, maybe it's a call? Such a weirdly played hand =[

I have no idea what to make of his different lines/betsizes in the three hands. I don't think I got to see anything he showed down..

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501055 - I don't think I want to get it in here, so this is probably standard.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501051 - Should have bet river.. I didn't think he was gonna fold after he snapcalled me on the turn tho. Oh well.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501063 - Aboo. Standard/not standard? Like, I have the blocker for the nut flush obv but even so, it's a 3bet pot, people probably don't fold any flush here. And I'm pretty much drawing dead vs a flush.. :)

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501064 - It's just hilarious how he doesn't raise me with the nuts.. :D Maybe he missed out on the fact that he had 99?? I don't know.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501081 - Reraising this preflop would probably be alright? Post flop I think it's played ok after the ace comes, because he's gonna bluff that a ton.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501084 - Am I missing out on value by not betting bottomset here? I'm not overly scared of him drawing two streets with a straightdraw on double flushdraw board but still.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501207 - :) Pretty early in the session but I had noticed he was very aggressive iirc.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/501209 - I think I like this a lot, the lead looks fairly FOS, and this way I'll get it in very good if he does happen to have the NFD.

I'm slightly ahead of schedule (8.9k hands after only 8 days of playing, or actually after only 6 days of playing and 2 days break, but still) and really enjoying poker which is awesome, been a while since I enjoyed grinding :)</description>
