(beat #1) We took a cab to the harrahs and saw the strip for the first time, really impressed by caesar palace and the bellagio. We arrived just to meet our french buddies (solody TaLL johny001) and we headed to a restaurant in the venetian, once again i'm impressed, everything is beautiful, alot of people, crazy difference of temperature between outside and inside the hotel and casinos. I guess I'm going to be sick soon lol. The food was really nice, we flipped the bill, obv I lost (beat #2). We came back to the hotel coz we were really tired and slept for the rest of the night. We wakeup at 11am, too late for breakfast but we had a message saying that our baggages arrived. I went down to the lobby to check this out just to see that they only had my girlfriend's bag. I ask around if that's common (we left the bags together in atlanta at the recheck in), and they all say that they have no idea. (beat #3) I call the baggage claim of Delta and they say that they located my bag... in Denver. BUT that they have alot of flights everyday and that my bag is coming up soon. We decided to take a walk on the strip from the harrahs to the bellagio, we came back really fast coz it was insanely hot. We took a nap that actually ended at 6.30 pm (gg for being jet lagged). The night my girlfriend was sick so I went with my french friends to check the rio and te 50k HORSE. Rio is really huge, the poker room is sick and the hotel is a monster. We saw all the superstars out there and decided to play some sit'n'goes for fun. We played a 125$ and I busted first after raising preflop/leading and calling allin with AhJx on QJx hearts. Just to lose to 86hh. The structure of the really low buyins sngs is horrible so I registered a 525 while my friends were still in the 125. After three hands, limp limp, raise MP to 175 (25/25), call call from CO and button, i have KK in te bb and make it 625 (2k stack). CO and BN calls, flop Q25, I open shove and get called by the button who shows me proudly 34, A turn etc... Then I manage to be allin with AKs vs ATo and 99, board TTx9T. I decided to register another 525 and finished 3rd for zero cash (lost QQ 99 and folded AT at blinds 300/600 after a raise and a contbet on K44, that crippled me). Then I came back to the hotel and slept again. My first plane is in 8 hours meaning that I have to wake up at 7.45am, take a shower, eat something, check again that I have everything and go to the airport. I'll take a plane to Paris, then another one to Atlanta and finally to Vegas. So yeah, it's going to be a long day tommorow and I could need some rest. But I'm still here, trying to find informations on vegas, looking at blogs, pictures, forum... I keep seeing me in the final table of some random event, pulling a sick 5 high bluff vs Ivey just to see him showing me top two before mucking his cards, nice read sir. Then I'd go to the bobby's room to play some 1k/2k plo/nlhe mixed, buying in for short, leaving a monster winner.
