Depends what you are looking for ( stakes/game type ). But regardless, I would not buy subscription for longer then 1 month at the time at any site atm, level of videos and roster is changing so fast atm. |

I don't think any video site will help you wobbly, they all take basic stuff and a lot of the times I disagree strongly with what they preach (the low tier coaches spout some horrible stuff sometimes), I had a bluefire subs only because of galfond, giggy is good but didn't teach me much except how to beat him, punketty's videos I strongly disagreed with most of the time, still taught how to handily beat him so was still worth it, I guess it is a good investment to sub into sites that your competition teaches at, will come out as brag but I beat them both hard both in 6max and hu last year even though they won a lot from other players, i had advantage. |

TBH I have always been hating on CR but anyways since Bluefire has died ( no more galfond and Giggy never makes vids) might as well cancel and CR is 1/2 price for whole year so I bought that, but Leggo seems to have the most solid winners.
Anyone know any other sites?
pokerstrategy has jungleman now
dragthebar
anything else?

poker strategy for free if you signed up through them to some sites, but utterly shit if you'd pay for them on the side. . .
1) diamond ( to see the best videos) ridic. expensive
2) They have big names but they don't make consistent series like you find on all other sites, and their in-house coaches that make vid after vid are pretty bad.
Never worth paying for/passing on RB deals but I am very happy I have them on Stars where I couldn't get a +'illegal' RB deal when I signed up (they exist btw).
I just cancelled my DC because...well founders suck/don't make vids and they don't have any very good video makers anymore. BFP was sick good with Galfond/Giggy/Niman but now I don't have it either. |

dougiedan678 on leggopoker is probably leggo's best holdem coach imo, but he doesn't put any 5/10 videos out there i think. Aejones was making some average videos but is improving fast as well, so he might be making some good 5/10 videos in the future.
leggo has sauce, nutsinho and ashman but they make a video about once a year, and most of them are plo videos.
but i'm in agreement with locoo, i don't think there are any sites that can help a 5/10+ player.

extremely insightful post
i have a few questions though
1) if you disagree strongly with punketty does that imply he is wrong? but is he not a big winner at 5/10?
2) i imagine it's your own secret, since you took the time to dissect giggy/punketty's games but could you give a general guide (or better 1 specific as an exmaple even if it is as simple as c/r flop frequency or even something simpler such as preflop leaks [although i expect these to hardly exist]) as to what you looked for specifically? i imagine their ranges/frequencies in lots of spots became extremely transparent?
i guess to sorta elaborate on point 2 i heard punketty is a stationy type player who puts a lot of pressure on himself in lots of bluff catching spots, so your counter to that is to tripple barrel frequently with an extremely merged range? |

This is a rather expensive way since most sites have a huge signup fee unless you decide to go for the entire year.
Anyway I'm wondering the same. |

To make it short I'll give you an example, in one of punkettys video he called with something weird like 87s oop vs a 3bet, which isn't soo bad (though I wouldn't do it) if you have a plan or any kind of read, but his only justification was that he could probably outplay the other guy postflop because he thought he was better than the other reg, so he proceeded to c/c a Ax8 flop and c/f a blank turn. This is just KCHING for me, first he thinks he can outplay regs postflop (I would say theres close to 0-1% of regs that can outplay another reg postflop oop these days) and 2nd he just plays his hand pretty straightforward, so I saw this a couple more times and then decided to 3bet him relentlessly no matter what and triple barrel him oop and 2 barrel him IP on boards he would think I have no reason to bluff on. I proceeded to regularly 3 barrel with like J8o on Qx2x2 boards and stuff, fun times. |
