it most likely has gotten even harder then u thought (if u havent played in a while), id say only in the last 6 months 5/10 has changed alot, and compared to 1-2 years ago its almost a different language
but its still possible to be a step ahead of the standards because there are still that chunk of regs that beat the games big 2 years ago that just dont give it up even tho they cant keep up, and aslong as those old farts bumhunts the games its gonna be beatable for a good amount |

Well, I didnt play seriously since 2009 I think, but the last time I played 5/10 was in 2008 and that was just shot taking pretty much ^^ I'm obviously assuming I'd have to start over at pretty low stakes if I were to play.
By even harder than I imagined, I didn't so much mean in terms of in absolute skill level, but rather what is possible in terms of winrates. If 2ptbb was like the biggest winner at 5/10 that would be insanely competitive/scary. |

ah yeah, i think the gap is closeing in though between the worse and best winners at 5/10, atleast when it comes to 100bb poker, and we'll see how long there even will be a gap.
but the biggest difference now compared to only like 6 months ago is that now pretty much all the regs, even the good ones that usually wanted to start games wont even play 6 handed with 5 other regs, at all. basically if a fish dies every1 instasitsout and even 1/2 games from whta ive heard is getting to that point now that not even 1/2 regs seem to have the ambition to battle it out against eachother to become better and move up stakes
and because of that i think the winrates remain pretty high for the big winners since there is almost no fishfree games running anymore, so 2-4ish bb/100 volume for the good regs (say 8bb/100 regs in fishgames) to grind out from worse regs isnt possible today on most networks
that said i think 4bb/100 still is concidered to be a very good winrate today at 5/10 and probably is the absolute topwinrate for the strongest 12-16 tablers |

yeah i've noticed the 1/2 games got a little harder after zoom poker came out. innerspy has been grinding 1/2 now lol, among a few other names i can't remember. They are still pretty soft compared to 2/4+ tho, i think.

Yeh is sucks, I used to never click sitout next BB and try to keep the game going but after getting grimmed for the 1000x time by all the regs and the fact that the game just never continued anyway i got tired of it and now sit out too when I'm pretty sure they will all sit out. |

What kind of winrates do the biggest winners have on 5/10 now? I guess 2ptbb/100 is pretty near the top these days, the way you mentioned it? |
The last I seriously played 5/10 6m NLHE (some 4-5 months ago), Gogol's Nose was probably the biggest longterm winner (only counting serious grinders, not hu players who sometimes joined or like nosebleeders making videos etc). I never got to understand how he was able to crush for like 3ptbb/100 while I barely knew I had him on my tables, way unlike other top regs.
For most though I would say even 1ptbb/100 is a solid winrate. |

DC new content is incredibly uninspiring --; 0 PLO stuff too.
Bluefire -> no PLO stuff but at least they have NL stuff that looks like it could be possibly interesting? I haven't watched it so no clue if good.
Cardrunners has the most retarded piece of shit DRM and website, almost so bad I can't stand watching anything even though I have a subscription and the content might be good. |

Only BFP I've watched that I liked were giggy and galfond. Samo or whatever his name is has gotten good reviews, but I felt was very meh. So if anyone has any good tips for other 6max or HU nlhe video makers I'd appreciate it. |

transformpoker has been coming out for over a year now, no real hope it actually comes out.
Can you link shootaa' good thread posts? |

as far as his 2p2 posts go you should just use search option there and filter only his posts
he usualy write 3-5 high quality strategy posts per day. I have saved few links so if you are interested I can pm you them or just add me on skype
also check this out youtube video and youtube video2 |

Seems like the best players just dont want to give away their material anymore... Understandable since there are 1000 faggots out there that used the previous given information so that they could button other players and bumhunt |

Good thread. DC and BFP def look bad 1.5 years into BF. Leggo doesn't seem to bad but it's def not like the old days.
I'm curious myself since it's been a couple years since I've really studied the game at anything resembling a deep level. All my play lately has been level-1 lol_live play and if/when poker comes back to america I'd like to be in a good spot to know how people are playing lately and how that's differed from 2010. |
