I wouldn't really call this flop missed; you do have 2 overs and a gut. The pot is big and he only has 25 left so just stick it in on the flop. |

if he has T8o, you still have 36.85% equity. if you shove and he calls you risk $25.5 to win $63. So in fact even if you know he has a pair and is calling 95% of the time you still gotta shove. might pay to practice some maths. |

wtf twisted, you could have kept that to yourself.
As for the hand I actually dont mind a check but its to induce, not so you can try and hit. With these stacks the hand is pretty much over when he calls pre, regardless of what comes you are getting it in, now you just need to figure out the best terms to do it on and checking the flop allows him to potentially bluff the hands that he would have folded to a flop shove. Shoving the flop is obviously standard as well. |

a lot of people think just because they play 100nl that it belongs in mid stakes, the quality of discussion that this hand creates belongs in micro stakes |

Yeah, I agree with this. Checking isn't as bad as everyone makes it seem because you have the best hand a lot, but you don't have much fold equity because fish auto put you on AK if you jam flop. Doubt he folds any pair if you jam. So as played, jam turn and be pretty happy. |

I bet 77-99 folds half the time to a flop jam. |
