Villain is a standard, abc-ish 20/17 reg.

How much do we bet on this lovely turn, and why?

Seems pretty easy to divide your stack up into ~1/3 for the turn and ~2/3 for the river since the flop had a raise.

Anywhere around $15 - this will leave $35 each into $51

Interesting hand. I only play NL50 for what it's worth. But in this hand I don't know I'd bet turn at all. From the action I assume he didn't flop 2 pair+, and we are now simply very far ahead of his flop calling range -- hands that abcish villains will have a hard time calling two barrels unimproved. If you lead turn he knows you're committed to the pot and I don't think he will want to stack off 120BB with overpairs/98/87/86/5x (these hands will probably all call a river bet unimproved), and if he has (or wanna try to represent) a 10 he will bet turn after which you can check-raise, possibly all in.

So IMO this is a situation where you might wanna try for a check-raise.

we bet 16.50 because we like money and he's never folding a set, 2p, or a worse straight

I click buttons.

Yeah I'm starting to think we might as well fire a really big one since my sizing wont make him lay down his good hands (except maybe 2pr I think) and he'll fold 1 pair no draw type hands to any bet. Since we're deep and I'm not going to fold my straight on the river we don't want to give him implied odds with FD or set. I think I should've bet like 19-20.

I actually made it 14.50 without thinking too much and gave him odds to do this:

WTF would you check the river when its HU? I would of shoved myself. He could call with worse, plus you yourself could have a missed flush, and he would %100 pay off with a T,

Well I figured he'd bet himself with a T so check or shove doesnt matter in that case. (If he checks back a T then my check is obv horrible) I figured he could have a missed FD and wanted to give him a chance to bluff. I don't think he's bluffcatching with 2pr so no need to rep a missed FD imo.

check calling river is one of the worst thigns you can do here

either shove or check fold, (shove always always BTW)

expecting an average regular to bet Tx on this river is insane, people like to click call as demonstrated by most of the hands posted on this site. Only a select few people actually are aggresive postflop

Why doesn't the guy with 77 jam that kind of flop? :/. After he just calls I have a hard time putting him on a set.
