Hey guys !
You might recognize me from that lame thread. I tried some softwares and already progressed alot.
-Tried PokerEdge but didnt like it
-Did alot of ICM training
-Reviewing my play after 5-6 games with SngWiz (stil on trial)
-Next up is HEM trial.
I tried alot of different tables on FTP and the ones I like best are sup-turbo. I love the fast games and the shove/fold strategy. I'm up 50$ now yay! but still trying to figure out what is the best tables to play on.
I've figured to 6 man doesn't worth it at micro states since some randoms guys always dies fast on 9 man.I like the 54 man and done considerably well on them.
I also enjoy to steps tourney, I find it fairly easy to get to step 3 with only 1.10$ never got to step 4 tho.
Anyway I'd like to know what you guys think of the sup-turbo/steps on FTP, what's your opinion on them?.

Bleh, dont play those sup turbo's they really suck. Just play the 9 mans normal or turbo's, not superturbos. You'll never learn to play decent |

Super turbos are VERY high variance, although its nice to just mindless grind rakeback off of it though or w/e. |

| The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts. | |

What vlseph and Jun said.
Even if you have a edge at those limits which you probably do, your variance will be much lower and have a more consistent winning rate with slower blind rate sngs. |

This.
As long as you don't mind being + - 100 buyins at any given time, Super Turbos are extremely profitable w/ RB |

well if you 16 table you can complete 52/hour and make $12/hr in rb playing $20 super turbos.
im not saying it's the most efficient way to use a 2k br but it's not terrible money. |

i actually like both, learning to play "diff forms" of poker doesn't just stop at learning different games. beating super turbos made me really appreciate how wide people's ranges are in different scenarios. |

i like super turbos if you can only put in a short session. maybe afraid about your internet connection. but i think turbos are better if you have time. |

Which is kinda what i meant dude, so playing 52 $20 turbos, you get $12 rakeback which is not even the cost of 1 turbo... pretty terrible. |

You can play about 50 superturbos STTs an hour if you keep 16 up at a time, so basically it comes down to your maintainable ROI + the rakeback which is easily enough calculated. Like some of the other responses say, variance is high. It's pretty common to go on 50 buyin swings above and below expectation, so 100 buy-in swings are also not far out of reach. |

On Rush or 12 tabling normal cash, can get 1 buyin in 2 hours .
|
so you earn 1/2 buyin per hour, which is worse return than the SnGs |

(1/2 buy-in per hour == full buy-in in 2 hours) < rakeback in superturbos by hourly
